Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 I think it's pathetic how some people can prey on the vulnerable, with no conscience or concern about the impact on others. This woman deserves whatever fate deals her, as you all know I can't stand scamers.

buggernot 588 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 As much as I loathe people who take advantage of others and even worse, a perceived trust turned out to be total manipulation, anyone who does not exercise a bit of caution with any type of relationship is playing with fire. I feel really bad for the guy and I can relate somewhat to that kind of naivete, but there comes a point where you have to listen to your head and not your heart. My heart goes out to the poor guy and that woman is just about the lowest form of life possible...taking advantage of a handicapped person because he's handicapped. But after the first take of a large sum of money on the promise of something that was never proved, he should have stopped there. He was not stupid, just lonely and hopeful. It's unfortunate that there are those out there that look at that as an opportunity to profit...

It is a tale of epic proportions, the villain is a classic figure from societies stereotypical underbelly and the victim is a classic case of societies stereotypical week and vulnerable. This is a true Shakespearean Tragedy! The sad part is that it is a true story and a tragedy for everyone, the lady is in one part villain and in another victim unable to understand or identify true love. The Victim is tragic and pathetic, we feel sorry for him because he was taken, but he had a dream while it lasted and that is priceless. I have been around this industry a very long time from many sides and the story is too familiar to me.

kih 458 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 Thanks Dummpy...Very Interesting story. Looking forward to read Part II. At the very least, the guy should of insisted that his name also be registered on the apparent property, vehicles, business etc.
jimjac 100 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 do you really think she is dead? maybe we can bury her "NOW" just in case she starts to stink!
Guest f***2f*** Report post Posted December 13, 2008 Well I think the guy was very unwise in his business choices. I mean I would never just be pumping money into something with no paperwork, legal work etc. I really feel for the guy but he was way to naive and trusting. I so understand how someone can fall for their sp and begin to fantasize about a deeper relationship but he never had any checks and balances in place on some pretty high end financial deals. I am looking forward to reading part 2 now...thanks dummpy for the article.

mod 135640 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 That is a sad story and if he was taken by this lady then I would hope that it haunts her as this is a horrible thing to do to another person and the fact that he is handicapped makes it that much worse. I want to follow the story now and see if they can find some truth for all this. Her being an escort should have nothing to do with this. He could have found her on a dating website or a classified ad in the singles section just as easy but because it portrays her as a scam artist they emphasize the escort part of the story as that makes good news I guess. They even back it up with a mention of www.escorts-canada.com I wish this industry could be mentioned in a nice story for a change. All the positive stuff that comes from the industry (Example: how happy the ladies make guys!) instead the media focuses on only the negative aspects and anything negative that they can somehow associate with it. Just seams all the good stuff never gets published.
buggernot 588 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 Just seems all the good stuff never gets published. That goes for just about everything though. What % of any type of news positive? It's all about murders, drugs, fires...I could go on and on, but it's mostly about human misery. If it wasn't, we wouldn't be interested. And I've seen enough stories about online relationships gone bad as well so they're not picking on the escort slant...it's just part of the story here. It's probably less likely to happen from the escort side of things since you know that it's about money to start with, and that's what gives the story it's extra allure. Like fuck me, how brutal is that where it's revealed this guy was turned down as a paying client by multiple girls? That is truly depressing stuff... Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 Part two http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/todays-paper/long+unwinding/1073991/story.html I'm a firm believer of what goes around comes around, payback is a bitch, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Sure she might be living it up now, but in the end she'll pay a high price for her behavior. I've been around the adult entertainment industry in one capacity or another long enough to know that if you play unfair you will pay the price, eventually. There's a big difference between seizing opportunity and being opportunistic. She seized opportunity when she realized she could use her killer bod and charm to provide a quality service to men, and make a good living at it. Nothing wrong with that, hell I'd do it too if I had an awesome bod, sadly I only have my cowboy charm to get by on. She became opportunistic when she saw this gentleman, not as a client but rather a meal ticket. When she began to lead him on to make him think there was anything more to the relationship. Sure SPs serve a purpose to us to live some fantasy, but only an hour or two at a time. She crossed the line, big time. What she did was despicable. Loki318 1631 Report post Posted December 15, 2008 Wow, I've heard excuses and bullshit before but nothing like the stuff this woman came up with, how she sleeps at night is beyond me, simply amazing. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/former+escort+worker+tells+tale/1076244/story.html Wow ! Guys we have all at one time or another been, to some extent taken for a ride (pun intended) and yes the Ladies too..We joke about TOFTT but this is way beyond way way beyond.... I recall though not on which board, maybe this one or a very similar one :), a lady was used by a POS client and was unable to work for a while so a few of her close friends got to gether and set up a fund..... I would like to see this happen here I will not attempt this alone but will help if there are any like minded board members out there... This whole business hits close to home for me ............nuff said :) Loki318
captain 160 Report post Posted December 15, 2008 Since I read part 3 a few hours ago, and I've gone to work, and this story has just stuck on my mind..... And I see Loki has sort of mentioned what was on my mind, except I was thinking of setting up a fund and getting so many SP's on board, if say, 100 people, SP's and hobbyists) donated $250 a month, thats $25,000 for the guy. Whatever, do your own math, it's not important the denominations, but the media spotlight that could benefit the industry.. What a better way to restory his trust, and faith in humanity, by getting money back frmo SP's and hobbyists rallyign to show support. Showing the industry is not a sleasy dark market industry as depicted by many... Imagien the headlines to thel ikes of Escorts across Canada contribute to help Victim or scam (Scum!) Something to kick around.... $200-$250 is basically the donation of one single client.... either a hobbyist just saw one less per month, and kicked into the pot, or some kind hearted SP's donated... this could be big.... maye I'm dreaming too big, was just one of those brainstorming ideas... :)
Loki318 1631 Report post Posted December 15, 2008 Captain the 2 of us are a humble begining and I would like to see some more positive support before proceeding but I would invision the mechanics of this working something like this: 1/ 2 or more of us get in touch with the Lawyer and have him set up a bank account. 2/ The account be a trust account to go to helping Doug maintain his house and life. 3/ The Lawyer and the PI have been there probono sence the beginning and I think a clause that would pay them last would not be out of line. I dont have a great "HAte" for lawyers that some ppl do but I would not want to see them skim the cream off the top and there be no milk left for Doug. These are just a few quick thoughts pleas efeel free to add ...... Anyone? Loki
Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Somewhat off topic but not by much.... A simillar thread to this one began on Saturday on the Toronto board and continued over the weekend until this morning. It was deleted completly, possibly because the woman's professional identity and name was discussed and suspected but not really confirmed. Anyhow, we all know who this is. But still all the mod over there would have to do is drop her name from two posts. So to those overthere who speak of the censorship here are busy eating crow today. An trust account may be an interestig an kind show of support for this lad from the hobbiest/provider community.
Guest f***2f*** Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Once again it is pointed out how dismal a failure our criminal justice system is. This woman should have been placed behind bars when she was found in contempt. The legal wrangling of her high priced lawyers and the suppression of the info of the source of the funds to pay for their mockery of the justice system should all be held up for ridicule and the judge should be putting in place a judgement with teeth that sees justice done. Extradite her low life husband and start seizing some assets instead of sitting back and telling this poor bugger that nothing can be done. The law is an ass!!
