Guest d*.y*s Report post Posted January 11, 2009 I took one for the team today. Yes, I've been had! A bonafide scam that I hope will not take another person's money. In **********-Halifax, there is a posting for Jan 9, 2009 with the following title "lets rumble in he jungle! - w4m". It shows a pic of a very hot brunette, and she only charges $150/hour. Unfortunately, I was thinking with my other head, and decided to reply to the ad. 10minutes later, a Traci Tuesday emails me back with the following message and 3 pics of this hot brunette model: "IN CALL OUT CALL HOURLY $150 $175 2 HOURS $275 $325 3-5 HOURS $125/hr $150/hr My services include gfe, pse, f/s, massage, dfk Still interested? Let me know if you want more pics... -Traci" At this point, Mr. Woody is in full swing, taking control. I email her back about my interest, and she responds: "You are welcome hun.. It's a boring night for me, so i have the laptop in my lap haha. Tuesday during those requested times I am indeed free. Tuesday are the only days I have early times open so good pick!!!! If you wanna move forward n get together just head to my site to schedule me http://www.mysexytraci.com This will take you thru my agency's site. They handle all my scheduling n everything. It helps to let them know who i am out with to make sure i am safe and in case I don't get paid for my services afterwards we have a real and legit name (unless the card is stolen which is unlikely.) The cost is 1 dollar and the transaction is billed securely and discreetly. You are indeed signing up for a porn trial that won't show up on your card statement (EPOCH the online billing system will) and cancel the trial as soon as signing up if you want to avoid extra cost. Otherwise it is just a buck! If you have any more questions or want to know anything that isn't listed on my site just reply and ill answer any questions you have :) also please don't use my phone unless you have to or have a question. Book me via my scheduling page that you'll get but my phone will be open for whatever if you need to call! - XOXO Traci" So at this point, Mr. Woody pulls out the credit card, and sign up for the $1 3-day trial, and nothing happens...I don't see the website where I'm supposed to schedule with Traci Tuesday. I email her back stating I've signed-up, but can't get to her website. Her reply: "Hi Hun, after you sign-up you should get a pop-up window with my information on it. Can you send me your order id # and I can reference your record with that please? Not sure what happened hun.." Mr Woody sends her the order id #, and she replies: "Hey sorry about that, the site took down your information but said there was an error, you sure you're 18? i was really looking forward to going out =\ maybe it was all just an error on the site, try signing up again are you sure you entered everything right?" At that point, Mr. Woody went limp, then I knew it was a scam. I tried to cancel my subscription, which ends up costing $39.95 for the month-long subscription to a porn site. I googled Traci Tuesday, and find she has done this same scam elsewhere: http://www.perb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=72978 http://www.usasexguide.info/forum/archive/index.php/t-4376.html So learn from my idiocy...don't let your guard down and don't let your other head take over. Emma Alexandra 123368 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Haven't you boys heard of the saying,"if it seems to good to be true it usually is". Especially if your looking for a lady in the paper or places like kijjii. Some may be real but theses places are known for scams and bait and switch. Think with the head on your shoulders... kisses, Emma A ps if your unsure of someone you see in those places contact cowboy kenny or check his blog. Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Never ever use your credit card to hobby. Any escort or agency requesting "verification" is a scam, they are only interested in verifying is your balance wich will soon be drained before you cancel the "subscription". The tell tale sign of these types of ads, the fact that no phone number is listed. If you find an add with no phone number move along, you're not missing out on anything and don't be tempted by the incredible rate, that's the bait. As emma mentioned "if it's too good to be true it usually is". Stand on your head and reverse the blood flow from your little head to your big head. :) Dr. Yes, thanks not only for taking one for the team, but for coming forward and sharing. all too often these scams continue to work because those who've been scammed are ashamed to admit they've been taken. Guest i***k*** Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Look at it this way, it cost you $40 but you'll never make that mistake again.
drlove 37204 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Never ever use your credit card to hobby. Just as an aside, the only time I've ever felt comfortable using a credit card to hobby was when dealing with a well respected outcall agency in Toronto. It was a convenience factor for me, and I never had any problems whatsoever.
Cowboy kenny 50799 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Here's another example" ers/984032283.html ", just paste this on the end of the cl address. is actually internet model Play with Paris. http://www.galleryserver.org/galleries/play_with_paris/ notice how there is no phone number ? Dr Love, raises a good point, if there's no need to keep your trail clean, due to wife or SO, then you can use a credit card especially if you have a trust in the agency. The only risk involved here is that the agencies do not processes the payments traditionally the cc companies don't issue merchant numbers to escort agencies. So to get around that the agency must find a willing merchant or associate with valid account to process the payment, wich is usually done for a fee wich get's passed on to you, so you end up paying more for the same serivice. It's also risky because everytime your number is passed along to another person you risk the chance of having your cc info comprimised. It's best to hobby with cash. If you're using the card as a means of creative financing then use it to get a cash advance at a bank machine rather than risk having the card comprimised. Loki318 1631 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Ck for the most part I have to agree but there seem to allways be that one exception :) One of the best Escort experiences of recent memory started on CL. She is one hot Indie :) of course I had to sift through 7 or 8 scams to find her ..... To help make any interested party's search shorter PM me for the add. mod 135640 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 You need to call your credit card company and contest the charge (They will reverse it) tell the credit card company you did not authorize a charge and when enough people complain about this they will loose the merchant accounts. Chances are... if you don't contest the charges you will get MORE bills from them (Recurring charges) so make sure you call your credit card company. I remember many years back, I got a Viper car alarm installed in my car at Derand, when they were on Catherin Street, across from the bus station and down a bit... Kind of the opposite of what you are saying but it was so suspicious, cause my statement and receipt showed "Wet n Wild Spas of Ottawa" which turned out to be just down the road from Derand on the same street.... anyway.... clearly the two were working together, and my homework showed me Wet n Wild closed down soon after... Definitely interesting how they operate..... I got a similar relpy from CL a week ago, asking for me to join a site and use a CC. I never noticed the phone # thing, and now that you pointed it out, definitely great advice to follow.
AmberWyld 311 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 I agree wth MOD, contest the charges and after several complaints, they will lose thier account.... Then the last laugh wll be on them. They would have to find another company to process their accounts, or change doman names... which costs them money, and the main point of ther game is to pay nothing out, and just take... cutescott69 333 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 I was so annoyed at coming across this 'Traci' scam that I sent him an e-mial advising that I was 'onto' him as were many others. His replies were unbelievable... called me a 'faggot', a 'homo' a, 'jew cannuck', and went on about how I had to 'pay for pussy' but he could 'get it whenever he wanted by playing the game' (presumably with women). His response obviously offers some insight into his mental stability (or should I say instability). People like this are the lowest cockroaches of society, but I take comfort that there are sites like cerb that will help to put these parasites out of business. mod 135640 Report post Posted January 12, 2009 Goes to show you the type of people you are dealing with. What is really bad is that they are probably doing some affiliate referral program and the website that offers the affiliate program will be the one that looses the merchant accounts and not the ass who is doing the scam. But if the affiliate program allows room for a scam like this they need to fix it too. The credit card company hate chargebacks and if you say fraud they investigate. Guest d*.y*s Report post Posted January 13, 2009 Wow, great response and advise...thanks! I like CK's advise about standing on your head...lol! I called my credit card company, and thus far, no charges. I will keep checking. For everyone reading this thread, it would be great if you could email Traci Tuesday, who is apparently a Dude, and just state simply: "We are onto you like rust on a lugnut of a '57 Chevy." Guest d*.y*s Report post Posted January 17, 2009 Just an update on lastest developments...now that they stole my credit card number, they charged up 5 different transactions on my credit card, totaling about $120. I called my credit card company and they fortunately refunded those unauthorized charges, closed my credit card account, and sending me a new credit card number. For those of you taken by this CL Traci Tuesday Scam, I suggest you also call your credit card company and close down your credit card...get a new number. Those bastards, scum of the earth, have your card number.
boomer01 5564 Report post Posted January 21, 2009 Yeh I answered the same ad but when any ad links you to a sight that asks for credit card info thats a "red flag" for sure.I actually sent a few emails to this girl telling her she was part of a scam but she just denied it.Alot of the ads on this sight are bogus..they should be policing them better...sorry this happened to you. Emma Alexandra 123368 Report post Posted January 21, 2009 Things on Cl will probably get somewhat better soon now that they will be charging to advertise in the erotic section...i believe its 25 dollars a month ...might cut down on some scaming... Andee 220524 Report post Posted August 18, 2009 I agree with the MOD. You need to call and cancel because if you don't like he said, you are probably going to get additional billings as if you were signing up for a monthly membership fee...and if they lose their merchant status, then they won't be able to do any future billings. Swallow your pride and make the call!

His replies were unbelievable... called me a 'faggot', a 'homo' a, 'jew cannuck', and went on about how I had to 'pay for pussy' but he could 'get it whenever he wanted by playing the game' (presumably with women). Sounds exactly like the same person using the ''Yolandamexi'' account on cl. I got the same replies of being a ''jew faggot'' & a ''homo'' when i refused to go to his/her website and give my credit card. They usually ask where your location is so they can google the city you tell them you are located and use google to give you the nearest hotel located in that city and make it seem like they are where you are. :? I always heard of these types of scams but never quite realized how rampid they run on cl alone. holy crap!
