Cara Silver 32413 Report post Posted April 6, 2012 Dear Couteau Jaune: I've been cleaning now for 6 hours. Tomorrow is Passover, a Jewish holiday celebrating the escape from slavery. It's symbolic and traditional, which is I've always loved it. There's religious stuff, but it stays firmly out of my kosher wine glass :) I'm glad to celebrate Passover here in Yellowknife, although there is no matzoh to be found anywhere. According to wikipedia, there are 15 Jews in YK. Hmmm. I will be leaving Yellowknife for good on April 27th. It's been kind of a rough road up here and I'd like to go somewhere a little more fun, a little more fair, a little more multicultural. It's been great- the winter is the best winter in the whole country. It's just not the city for me. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I will miss you guys very much :( xoxooxxo Amelia Middleton
