Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 R.I.P. Dick Clark. I don't remember American Bandstand but I do remember watching him every New Year's Eve in Times Square until he had his stroke and then he co-hosted one year with Ryan Seacrest. He was a figurehead that represented classic Americana. He was a great t.v. personality that will be missed.

The General 11309 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 The last couple of years he had started to slow down, but man, oh man, he seemed young forever, tons of energy and looked like he never aged, with a little medical help. He was certainly an icon in many ways and will be missed. RIP

Luckyme 41401 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 I remember AB way back when. But somehow, I think New Year's Eve won't be the same without the forever-young Dick Clark. R.I.P.
