My best advice is always the same, figure out a budget and stick to it! If you decide to spend more than your budget one month, best to cut back the next. If not, it can very quickly put you in huge financial trouble!!!!

Boomer 33202 Report post Posted June 29, 2012 Budgets are to be broken, and I do so often. I kinda got through cycles, and as luck would have it that's not really a problem.
nntsci 11076 Report post Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) Hilarious. Yes, the same situation right now. But for me, its not so much the money per se, its how much I can sneak out of the joint account or the line of credit. I earn 71% of the family income, so its my salary that pays most of the bills. But this month, my significant other (SO) paid off the credit cards so that I could pay down the line of credit (new shingles cost me about the equivalent of 28 SP appointments). Typically I pace myself at at 3 to 4 weeks min between sessions, but due to a certain female friend I know, I've needed an extra session this month... and I need another one right now, right now, but I don't dare take any more money out; the SO would notice. Good luck with your financial issues. (Ps. I might even have to beg SO to help get over this need - a mediocre substitute for an SP, but it might work apparently she saw one of those talk show on TV talk shows about the importance of intimacy -- that usually does it for her). Source 1015 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 I admit that I have to agree agree with what some women say about us guys: "Our brain is somewhere below the belt!!"
iluvmuffins 1764 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had to curtail some activities and the regular SP was a little disappointed when I said it will be a little longer before we can have our fun again. I checked in the Entertainment book and also the Valupak envelopes I get but I've never seen any coupons from escorts. Oh well, maybe one day! :) LOL
nntsci 11076 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 (edited) "I checked in the Entertainment book and also the Valupak envelopes I get but I've never seen any coupons from escorts." I knew a girl in Ajax who offered a special rate before 6pm, does that count as a coupon? I seem to recall seeing last week an agency in Toronto that had something about winning your appointment for free, for signing up to their mailing list or something like that. Thats a coupon if I've ever heard of one. It didn't say if people already on their mailing list (like me) could apply. Edit: Yeah, I checked it was Garden of Eden, it was for signing up to get twitter feeds. The winners are listed on their web site www.gardenofedenescorts.com on the home page (just after the initial landing page). Guest ****y1**2 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Ah, I smiled when I saw this post.... I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. As a single guy, I have to significant other to worry about but I agree that it can be addictive, especially with the wonderful ladies in this town. I think Spud hit on it - once you're blown your budget (pardon the pun) you have to cut back and make sure that the essential things are covered. I sadly had to do the same thing to ensure some other costs were covered which caused me to cut back. I would, however, argue that being made to feel like a king is pretty essential! nntsci 11076 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Congrats. See, you got a coupon. I didn't get around to applying, idiot that I am, but I was busy last week occupied with pursuing the girl with the perfect hair at Toronto Passions (its a long story). Guest N***he**Ont**y Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Problem is when am I going to get to Toronto? Always seems to be work related when I get there!
nntsci 11076 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Its always work related when I'm in TO (I work there, ha ha). I always try to get in some "sight" seeing when I'm on a business trip (Australia was heaven in that respect). GOE is nicely central so its accessable if you are downtown, but they do have other sites as well I believe.
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Well for me I maintain this lifestyle to on average one encounter per month. I budget for the lady's donation, gift, tip, not to mention travel and hotel using monthly disposable income. I avoid using credit in any way shape or form, even to the point gas for my travel is paid for in cash. That way if I don't have the disposable income, I can't get in trouble having more encounters a month than I can afford RG

Now I visit my favs one every 3 weeks or so. As one poster mentioned, one needs to be caustious when you have joint chequing accounts. I usually grab some cash back when I push something so I can has a little stash of cash. With the Government axing jobs all over the place, everyone needs to be cautious how they spend. That way if I don't have the disposable income, I can't get in trouble having more encounters a month than I can afford" Well in all seriousness, unless every cent of ones mortgage is paid off, everything is on credit in one way or another... and I'm not exactly sure what paying for everything in cash would mean. My cash comes out of an ATM. But definitely one has to keep oneself to a budget that is affordable, but in my case I'm more limited by what I can get away with withdrawing without it being noticed, than how much I can afford. I've found a few ways of getting more cash from time to time with her noticing, but I usually need a good cover story (my other hobbies, those daily lattes, paying for my kids recreational expenses, paying the interest on my daughter's line of credit). Fortunately my wifes lousy at math... or just doesn't bother doing the math, not sure which. I was rather amused recently when when she found out I'm donating $30 per month to a hospital charity she was upset that we couldn't afford it (what a laugh that is), but she didn't say anything about the $600 I withdrew in cash last month (of which only $250 was for this hobby). One trick I use is to withdraw a bit more (say $60) every week then I need (thats like 10 lattes that I don't really need, or 3 extra bags of aquacultured algae to feed my coral in my marine aquarium if she should ever ask) and stash the extra $60 away so that on the day of my "appointment" I don't need to take out anything extra. By saying I avoid using credit, that is in reference to partaking in this lifestyle. Every encounter is paid for by disposable income (I make enough so each month I can afford this lifestyle...in cash) after my monthly bills are paid. I don't pay for encounters by going to my line of credit or credit card. The gas for my truck is paid in cash. Hotels, paid in cash (yes I reserve rooms using credit card, but on check in pay for the room in cash) As for being noticed, I'm single so not an issue for me. The closest to being noticed is the bank, knowing where I sent money once on an email money transfer, because the lady's email (an inocuous email btw) shows up. I don't need a credit card payment or an extra payment on my line of credit to come up the next month. If I don't have the cash, I don't see a lady that month...good practice (at least for me) or this lifestyle could very easily get out of control RG

This reminds me of what I was doing many years ago. I would take out $10-$20 once in a while from my wallet and I'd stash it away in my "Hobby" fund envelop hidden in my office drawer. I guess - where there's a will, there's a way! - even in my poorer days, lol.
