I made pan seared strip loin steaks, with a butter and fresh herb bath. Roasted potatoes with rosemary, sauteed green and yellow zucchini with cremini mushrooms. It was delicious! I also made a simple salad, but was to full to even try and eat it. ^_^ yay food

Guest *l**e

well, my deep freeze broke, so I am having 3 prime rib roasts, 7 filet mignon, 5 prime rib steaks, 1 sirloin roast and 4 portions of dry rub Prime Ribs in the crock pot.

I'm stuffed, by the way.

(p.s. did I win??)

Went out for a morning walk...damn it is cold, and now rain spitting down

But I digress

Cold weather calls for the slow cooker

So on my walk went to the grocery store, picked up a pork roast, sauerkraut and a few other odds and ends, and for dinner, pork roast with sauerkraut in the slow cooker, with enough for meals for the next few days

Dinner at 6pm YUM

Fresh corn to start, then fresh yellow beans, new potatoes and BBQ Porkchops,

Apple Pie and Ice Cream for dessert, might have to go for a walk.

Pan seared pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary, thyme and local garlic and onions. Roasted new potatoes and heirloom carrots. Smells devine. Usually like to deglaze the pan with some white wine but not tonight.

Perhaps a Big glass or two of Cabernet would round out the flavours :-)

Leftover roast pork and sauerkraut

That pork just fell off the bone...yummy yesterday, looking forward to it tonight, and tomorrow and day after that

Washed down with water...oh god I'm drinking lots of water

For desert going to run to the store, see if they have blueberries, if not, strawberries

Hungarian Goulash done in the slow cooker

Washed down with water

To keep it allowable on my lo carb diet no carrots, and no potato's added. And I'm not serving it over noodles or having dinner rolls with it

BBQ'd sirloin steaks, baked potatoes, baked yams, steamed broccoli florets served hot with a chilled Aquafina for me and a chilled white wine for my SO.
