mod 135639 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 With todays "Computer Savvy" kids, wives, girlfriends, co-workers, bosses or even the nosy system administrator at your office are you concerned about them finding out your INTERNET interests? We have received lots of feedback over the years and this seams to be a growing concern these days with many of the hobbyists. More and more people are starting to us mobile devices to browse for escorts on-line as the office and home computers are sometimes difficult to fully hide your tracks (Especially if you have a computer wiz in the house!). Escorts Canada now has a WAP section and it is evolving to be more user friendly all the time so it's growing in popularity (http://www.escorts-canada.com/wap) but not everyone has access to a WAP enabled PDA or CELL PHONE so office computers and home computers are still some of the only choices many people have (Many INTERNET caf?'s will turn a "Blind Eye" to the surfer checking out the on-line escort sites but some of the caf?'s now shut you down for this as well as it's deemed too "Adult" with the lewd content in some of the sites). So what choices do we have? We have been racking out brains for almost a year now trying to come up with a solution that would help this problem and we feel we have an idea that just might help but before we commit to developing it we want to ask for your feedback and suggestions. --- Imagine a website that displays daily sports facts, gadget news and reviews or maybe some stock market information (Like a real guy's site). Now have a MEMBERS link on the site where you could log in and view a secret area hidden behind this "False" guy's site. When you log in as a MEMBER it loads a "flash video" and asks for your member password. Very normal guys site and if found in your HISTORY files or TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES nobody would be suspicious of the link. Even a system admin geek would not be all to interested in this link! Now... The reason for it being a flash movie is that flash does not store images on your computer it stores a flash movies and the content is streamed to the movie (again not stored as images on your computer) and when you navigate in a flash movie your history files can not see this so no history files on your computer are ever stored from this! The flash movie would then stream escort ads to you by city and it would not leave any tracks for the suspicious person to find! Now the other problem is potential "Keystroke Listeners" (Little malicious programs that can be installed on peoples computers that record your keystrokes on your keyboard). So in order to remove the threat of keystoke listeners we could have the flash movie pop up a keyboard image and you can "Click" the letters to enter your password instead of typing them (This removes the chance of someone capturing your password keystrokes and gaining access). Once inside you would navigate the entire site just like you would any directory (With mouse clicks and not keystrokes) so this issue is also solved!! The problems we have so far are (1) How do you market a site like this if it's a secret? (2) How many people would be interested in a site like this? (3) If the media caught onto this they could bust it wide open for everyone! So we would like your thoughts, idea's and a vote to let us know if you think this would be something you could use or something that you think is a waste of time! PLEASE VOTE --- We realize that posting this information may spike someone's interest in stealing the idea and developing it themselves so I just want to say that if you think this is a good enough idea to develop it PM me and if you have the skills to help develop it or market it we may consider bringing you on-board if the response for this project is high enough! We already have the database of advertisers so we have done most of the work for the project so why compete when you can be part of a winning team! JoyfulC 132299 Report post Posted March 2, 2007 This is one of the most brilliant ideas you've ever come up with! I think there's a tremendous need for it. Recently, many clients I originally met online are now even shunning e-mail as a method of communication because of concerns that wives, kids, colleagues are knowledgeable enough to check out what they're up to online. I've even heard of instances where guys were questioned about cleared caches. Advertising a "no telltale tracks" site might prove the most difficult aspect, but I think word would eventually get out. I hope you go for it! The part about the flash keyboard is a stroke of pure genius! Each member has his own PM email (Also done in flash so it does not leave any evidence - and can type with the keyboard or the mouse clicks for added security) then when you send and receive email using the site it's secure as well from any prying eyes and system administrators! Brilliant! :) Anyone else have any ideas?? 280 people have read this so far and 9 people have voted?!?!
