Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted April 8, 2009 wasn't she the lady that worked for her bf and he made everyone give her 10's on TER...?? She was, although Natalie doesn't put it exactly like that in the book itself. The following is from the 2005 New York magazine article: "The most important thing was to break Natalia out big," Jason says. "To get the ball rolling with a number of fabulous reviews, I sent her to some friends, to sort of grease the wheel. I knew those 10/10s would keep coming, because no man wants to admit he got less. They’re brainwashed that way." If any hobbyist had the temerity to hand out a paltry 8/8, or even a 9/10, he would be contacted. "Don’t break my girl’s streak, this is history in the making," Jason cajoled, offering to throw in a couple hours of free time to get the customer to do a little recalculating. If that didn’t work, good reviews could be ensured by the $5,000 everyone working at NY Confidential (except Jason) swears was FedExed to Dave@TER on the 15th of every month. Dave, who says he "would not argue with that" when asked if he is the single most important person in the escort business, vehemently denies any payoffs, from NY Confidential or anyone else. Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted December 8, 2010 This chapter of Natalie McLennan's story is now complete. She was sentenced to time served on 7 Dec 2010, after pleading guilty to a charge of attempted money laundering in connection with her involvement in the NY Confidential agency. John Eligon reports for The New York Times: Five years after her 15 minutes of fame, Natalie McLennan was sentenced to time served on Tuesday after pleading guilty to a charge of attempted money laundering in connection with her involvement in an upscale prostitution ring. The proceeding in State Supreme Court in Manhattan was quick — about five minutes for her to change her plea (she had originally pleaded guilty to more serious money laundering charges) and receive her sentence of time served (about 20 days in jail before she made bail). Ms. McLennan, 30, did not seem to fit the image of a woman who in 2005 appeared on the cover of New York magazine and was trumpeted as the city’s No. 1 escort, demanding $2,000 an hour for her services. She wore a thin, dark sweater, black riding boots and bluejeans, occasionally raking her fingers through her flowing dark brown hair. She hustled out of the courtroom, hiding behind caramel-colored sunglasses, with little comment. Though when a reporter suggested that her life was not as exciting as it once was, she slyly offered, “You don’t know that.” ... Outside the courthouse, she smiled brightly and told her lawyer, John Nicholas Iannuzzi: “It’s all over. Thank you so much.” They exchanged a firm embrace and a kiss. Ms. McLennan was expected to return to her native Montreal, where she has lived for the most part since her arrest; immigration officials have barred her from staying in the United States because of her case. Mr. Iannuzzi said that he did not know what line of work Ms. McLennan was now in but that it was “gainful employment.” Ms. McLennan was, according to Mr. Iannuzzi, “delighted to have the nightmare over with.” Full article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/08/nyregion/08natalie.html

Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted December 9, 2010 I read the book last year and it was interesting. I could not relate to running out of a limo on the way to see a client to buy a $1K pair of shoes or snorting a line of coke to wake up or just get buy but nonetheless, other parts I could relate to. Her picture above makes her look old and haggard compared to 5 years ago. It's sad to see how drugs and other life decisions aside from prostitution can do to a person. .
