pussy_liquor 102 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 I have a question that has been on my mind a bit lately that I would like your opinions on. When you visit your lady of choice either at her place or her hotel, do you take your wallet with ID, credit cards, etc with you or do you leave it in your car? I believe some ladies ask for ID with new clients, what to you guys do about that? I know the ladies want their donation in a plain envelope in plain sight so there is no need to bring your wallet, correct? So, if you do not bring your wallet and want to leave a tip, then what? Keep some cash in your pocket? Your thoughts please.
captain 160 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 that does raise an interesting question, and also prompts a new thread of it's own... one of the first SP's I visited, I parked my car 2 blocks away (then walked), brought cash only, and no ID... when we were finished, and I was like "ok, how do you take your donation" she said just put it on the table, she took it, and didn't even count it... when I asked, she said ... why wouldn't I trust you? then she asked me to give her a ride to the corner store... my eyes lit up like a deer caught in headlights, and I felt like a fool when I said I parked it 2 blocks away.... she laughed, but I think she thought I was a total idiot!! Legally, I was worried about..... hey, if I get busted or something, they can take my car, and everything.... and well, my wife would be PISSED.... (bah, I woulda just told her to go fuck her boyfriend anyways, who cares what she thought at the time! lol) Anyway... I for one, would just bring cash. I can't offer a whole lot of wisdom here, save that for dummpy, dreamer of cowboy Kenny..... but your question is certainly as I said, worthy of discussion of .... can they take your car, and stuff if you get caught in a bust with an SP. ( I know you were worried about the SP stealing your money or ID or something, that is why I wouldn't bring much more than needed. Say the call is $200. Bring $250 or so... ulixestrojan 3757 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 No wallet - I have a billfold, one credit card and one ID. I assume little and expect people to behave properly. I try not to go to places where I will be robbed and if I am, well there are people that take care of those things. My experience has been good - I listen to respected sources and do not take risks that do not need to be taken. If I get that feeling in my stomach - I call and say "the place is not what I expected and I am no longer interested" and leave a token
spud271 47779 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 I usually leave it at home and just bring the basics with me. The SP's I generally see are very trustworthy, so I don't believe I have anything to worry about, but I usually take precautions just in case. It really depends how confortable you are with the lady, some of the indy's I know I can trust, but if I am meeting a lady for the first time then I tend to be a bit more cautious. Just wise to do so, never take any chances.
cat 262460 Report post Posted November 25, 2008 Excellent thread! I have seen situations where wallets are compromised and that is bad for everyone. I suggest that wallets are left in the car along with cell phones and handhelds. Have the consideration in an envelope and if you can swing by the bank and bring large bills all the better. A glance will count it without it being obvious. Guests who come to see me are asked to put all watches and gizmos in the "box" situated at the front door to ensure we are not interrupted. When they leave the envelope is switched for their belongings in the box. Catherine P.S. Do not think that having no ID will deter LE. They will hold you until you produce some! They have all the time in the world to outwait you.
Seymour 3970 Report post Posted November 26, 2008 The wallet has no business in making the trip. Now I understand many hobbyists have a SO and are limited in the hours they can hobby..in this case you really should leave id, credit cards or debit cards in a safe place - (I'm not suggesting your car). And since you likely have a cell phone/blackberry etc and would need to be reachable - set up ring tones for certain callers (if you cannot switch it off for a few hours). Just so you don't ruin the mood - tell your date at the outset, so that if you do get interrupted, it won't be a surprise. Personally - I don't have this challenge and I travel light - but the cell phone will get switched off when I'm in the location - this way if my date needs to reach me because something occurred in between me parking and taking an elevator, then I'm reachable. Guest i***k*** Report post Posted November 26, 2008 To be honest there is nothing in my wallet that can't be replaced so I don't mind bringing it with me. If I "lose" something out of it I'll know and It'll be my last trip to that particular lady. I have a policy not to repeat mistakes.
PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted November 26, 2008 The tidy sum of bills are in a sealed envelope...always.No identification on myself, no wallet, no cell phone. Just want no interruptions, that is the way it should be.
Loki318 1631 Report post Posted November 26, 2008 Well 99.9% of all of my hobbying is done away from "home base" on "business trips" So all of my belonging are with me in the room, I keep two Wallets one of witch is strictly for hobbying it has my "disposable" cash one CC and one ID. The donation is usually kept separate in large bills at the ready :) The every day wallet is well out of sight so if a tip is warranted it is available from the hobbying stash :) I have very seldom (not more than twice in 26 years) have I felt threatened or nervous, but lets face it we are all meeting strangers in strange places in questionable circumstances ;) a bit of caution is recommended ! I would never leave my wallet in my car even in the driveway at home Loki318
whatsup 11893 Report post Posted November 26, 2008 I will take my chances with having my wallet with me. The vehicle probably has a better chance of be lifted than the wallet.
ekimout 188 Report post Posted December 6, 2008 I never bring the wallet, just a credit card and one piece of id. The money is already in an envelope and I always bring some extra cash.
esoterica 624 Report post Posted December 6, 2008 OK, I am going to say something which may be construed as naive or stupid. I don't visit places where I believe my wallet would be compromised. I rarely carry more that $40-60 over the donation and I have a quick-cancel Sentinel account on my cards - which were last compromised at a child care centre - so go figure. getiton76 100 Report post Posted December 8, 2008 I usually bring my wallet with me, but I empty it of everything other than $ and protection before I head out to my appointment. In essence, the wallet serves solely as a holder of items. Nothing more.
Narman 117 Report post Posted December 17, 2008 LE can not take you're car if you were to get pinched. (Unless you were fooling around in your car, and even thats a maybe.) But if you don't have ID you could (and most likely will) be held until you produce it. Imagine calling your wife from lock-up to go get your ID from your car so you can get released. I bet you'd need two lawyers after that! My solution for the LE/SP needing ID was solved when I lost my wallet once, so I went out and bought a new wallet, got a drivers licsense, etc. Anyway a while later I recieved my old wallet back in the mail. Voila two IDs, so I use the old wallet when I go hobbying. I guess the old licsense isn't valid anymore, but it looks valid so who cares. Cheers, 100 POSTS! brandi 231 Report post Posted December 17, 2008 This kind of stuff offends me greatly. I know not to take it personally but it does hurt all of us honest sp?s as an entire industry when you have to worry like this. I know people are people and theft can happen in any occupation. But please there are some very honest escorts out there! Don?t lump us all in the same boat. When a gentleman comes to my in call I have way more to lose then he does. I have no interest in his wallet other then the donation required for our time as I rather long term regular customers then a high traffic revolting door. Treat people right and they always come back. I have had the same in call for 13 years and have no plans of leaving. If a person was stealing stuff from wallets they most likely wouldn?t be able to stay in the same spot. I know you need to watch out for your safety but it really bothers me that a man would come here with that in the back of his head but I understand because I have to watch myself when I do outcalls. For in calls I open up my home, you get the privilege of coming in here which makes me vulnerable, you get to use my shower, see my personal belongings etc, leaving me totally vulnerable in many ways. The only thing I have on you is either a board handle or a phone number. I rely on you being discrete and honest just as much as you want that in a sp. My clients often come in and leave their jackets/wallets in the front entrance while we are down the hall for fun and then come back for their coat before leaving. Or their wallet is in their pants which are in the room with us. I always make sure they have everything before going and if they ever left anything behind as has happened occasionally (like a watch) I would definitely let them know and make sure they got it back. I have mailed watches to folks from out of town. I have had new clients say their wallet is in the vehicle and they leave to get more money and come back and common sense is never leave a wallet in a car! Cars get break and enter all the time even in the best neighborhoods. If you are in an in call and don?t feel safe, simply leave. So there is no problems give the lady 20$ to 50$ for her time and to keep your name good. If you stay keep your wallet with you, ie in your pants which are usually in the room with you and in your view, if you still don?t feel safe showering etc take your pants into the bathroom with you. Please don?t stereo type us all as the same because we are all different.

hunter08 182 Report post Posted December 17, 2008 i never carry my wallet always leave it locked in the truck guess i should carry it because if you trust the sp enough to go see her shurely you can trust her not to take your wallet now if your going to see someone off cl then i wouldn't take it [i'd put it in a safe somewhere] lol
Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted December 17, 2008 Brandi makes an excellent point about avoiding stereotypes. My 2 cents: I read this discussion, and didn't come away with the impression that the guys were talking about the trustworthiness of SPs, but instead about the unusual situation: there just aren't many times anywhere in a guy's life that his precious wallet isn't directly in his control. Let's face it, it's no secret that some folks are dishonest, no matter their occupation. I wouldn't let my wallet out of my sight in my Pastor's house. Not that I don't trust my pastor, but control of one's wallet is just part of common-sense everyday risk-management in life. And the hassle of replacing everything in your typical wallet if it is lost is just waaaaaay more than the hassle of simply taking precautions. Clients shouldn't be offended with the usual steps taken by SPs to manage their part of the risk -- and neither should SPs be offended with the usual steps taken by clients to manage their own part of the risk. Both parties are vulnerable in this situation. And it's not a matter of trust or lack of it. Even if I trust you and you trust me, that trust still doesn't trump just plain old common sense. AmberWyld 311 Report post Posted December 18, 2008 Myself, I say leave it behind if you truly don't need to have it on you. As for your drivers license, leave it hidden in your car. I never would steal from a client, nor would I ever think of it. THOSE that do, should be outed, as this can hurt those of us that are honest about what we do. But I think for both of us, t would be less stressful, to NOT bring it with you. That was, if you had a few drinks, or forgot how much you spent at he bar before going to see a girl cause you had no luck at the club, you can't say 'wait a second, I had three hundred here,' when you had spent 2oo at the club! LOL It can happen and can be stressful on the girl. So leave what you don't need at home or in a safe place.... LETS just have fun and forget about things like that! Like the idea of the box at the door to place things in, I get so many watches left behind at times.... lol
