CristyCurves 169032 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 Aww, congradulations lucky you and lucky dog to get a loving owner. Best advice would be to watch her for a while and name her based on her personality, or think of a name that connects you to her. I named my dog grace because she was that, my saving grace, a month before I got her my other dog passed due to disease and at the same time I learned my Fathers cancer was terminal, he passed also no long after and this dog got me through it as I said she was my saving GRACE! Enjoy your new pup as the years fly-all the best.
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) I like Calli Mae. My friend called her English Boxer that name. I love it! I know it's a coincidence with your escorting name but the name Cali is nice. Abby Jacey Scarlett Edited October 3, 2012 by Nicolette Vaughn
cat 262460 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 Why not wait until she arrives and get to know her a little. I have seen dogs with names that are entirely wrong, like my little guy who came already named. Just wait and see her personality. Nothing sillier than a rotti named Daisy who has no interest in smelling the flowers or an anxiety ridden terrier named Maximus... cat
Billac 168 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 The dog names we are using presently are: Leroy,Dexter,Sophie,Lucy,Jack,Jill,Tommy,Bella(now mostly Bellow) and Bindy. Yup 9 dogs and they all work for a living. These are not small dogs(Pyreneese,Border Collies,Aussie Shepherds).I couldn't manage without them but the food and vet bills are godawful sometimes. Guest jake_cdn Report post Posted October 3, 2012 Tough one as a dog's name is usually attached to its personality or characteristics... Always liked Hunter

calirayne 523 Report post Posted October 25, 2012 Well I ended up going with a different person to get a pup. That person scammed me into a puppy mill situation. I got a now 10 week old Black Lab/Blonde Retriever pup. I named him Bud, and what a handful he is. I am glad I am off this winter. I decided on Bud because I came home with a trunk full of Budweiser too.
