CristyCurves 169032 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 In this part of the woods(atlantic canada) anyway, most male escorts are bi or gay, because the demand is for men for men, not men for women. I would never seek the company of a paid companion simply because my attraction to a man isn't about his appearence, and I'd rather be the one pursued not the pursuer.
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 I must agree, a male companion will probably find more success as a bi/gay companion. (Bi for couples would maybe fly) I just don't see a huge market for women seeking male companionship, especially for sexual reasons. While shows like Hung may have increased the interest in pursuing this, realistically, I don't see it being very lucrative.
Guest *l**e Report post Posted October 14, 2012 I have to echo what the ladies have said. I am not an escort, but as a male mp, I do offer a finish for the ladies; most don't want that. Most just want a nice sexy but skilled massage. I think most women can find someone to satisfy them easily without paying. The biz just simply is not as lucrative for men. I love it though!! Genevieve Marceau 68000 Report post Posted October 14, 2012 I'm frequently asked by my Montreal SP friends for any male escort reference. Their female clients (especially those from the states) are seeking some. When I go to NYC I even have clients asking me if I know anyone for their wife! I guess this practice is not quite as populaire here :)

What I have found here is, there is very limited demand for straight male escorts. There is some, but the issue becomes you can't really make a living from it. Since bills need to be paid, a full time is required so that greatly limits your spare time to see clients. I made incredible money at it and very much enjoyed myself. Never had a bad client, and would do it again if the right situation came up. Some of can work in the business and some of us just think we can! But there is a good demand for them in some European countries. Have fun though;) Gegefatale, as most people are aware I did work as a male escort in England for some time. piano8950 32577 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 As previously said, yes it's easy for women to find sex. Verryyyyy easyyy....But not that easy to find a top quality male partner who looks like a perfect 10, dress like a fashion model, well travelled, speaks many languages and who makes love like a god. My friend is not the guy next door...Girls and women literally stop him on the street or in a club to offer him money for sex. When I walk with him in a public place, women are simply drooling just at looking at him. As a straight guy, after that description, I gotta say, I'm curious on how he looks now

Frank7 3939 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 As previously said, yes it's easy for women to find sex. Verryyyyy easyyy.... That's why i don't see it being much in demand. No matter what, assuming same situations, a girl will have much easier time dating/fucking. Girls and women literally stop him on the street or in a club to offer him money for sex. When I walk with him in a public place, women are simply drooling just at looking at him. And he doesn't accept? O.o Anyway that could be a great adventure for him since he has nothing to lose and it would also be a good opportunity for other female providers to offer more variety to their service such as FFM performance or cuckold roleplay ;) I often get requests from female clients to bring a male partner... You should make him your partner for those situation then. I don't see it working that much if he just try for solo straight escorting. On a side note, you're hiring? Where do we send our C.V. ? ;)
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 Thi business is not lucrative for men unless you willing to suck cock. Sorry but that's the way it is. I get asked this all the time! While there could be female hobbyists out there, they're few and far between. I would say there could be a better demand for your friend in a male-female duo situation.
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 I must side with Nicki on this. A bi guy teamed up with a lady could do well but Canada doesn't seem to be the market for straight male providers. Perhaps we aren't as sofisticated as NYC or Paris etc...but then again, maybe that exists more so in the movies.

Guest C*****tte Report post Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) While the market might be smaller I do think it exists. When I have told female friends that I escort they have confided in me that would like to hire a male escort. These are women who are accomplished and educated. They are often single mothers looking for an experience that will not complicate their lives. They could easily meet a man for a hook up but want a more sensual sophisticated experience. I am acquaintances with a man who worked in Canada and abroad. He did very well for himself. He was stunning, incredibly gracious and well mannered, charming and empathetic. He has since retired, but as I got to know him I could see how he could make his living this way. The total package type. Perhaps if the laws change I will develop an agency for such a niche. And ladies, I won't lie, I imagine the interview process for finding providers to join my team would be quite the lovely task. Edited May 31, 2013 by C*****tte Typos! Guest *Ste***cque** Report post Posted May 31, 2013 It's a nice idea but any straight male escort is fishing in a tiny, tiny, tiny pond. Did I say tiny enough times? Men pay for sex, women sell sex. I'm not happy with the way the world is but what can I do? I think a straight male escort would have almost as much success offering his services to SP's on here. The same reasons why an SP wouldn't buy a guys services should apply to regular women, in most cases. Even women who want an uncomplicated tryst could do so... and get paid for it in the process. Sort of an SP for a night experience. I really do like the thought of it though! Kind of a fantasy of mine.
Gabriella Laurence 301887 Report post Posted May 31, 2013 I personally would pay for male companionship for all of the same reasons men (single or married) seek female companions (I know quite a few other ladies who would too and couples who want a male SP for their wives) but it is not easy to find someone who is established, trustworthy and discreet. Perhaps a small niche market but in the end, it could turn out to be a great one for the professional male SP(s).

Wolf Knight 29667 Report post Posted May 31, 2013 To respond to Gege in her original post. Others have mentioned the fact although some might, "generally" ladies don't need to source out and pay for a SEXUAL companion. However, I do believe if there was a gentleman who aside from be eye/arm candy was as debonair, educated and multifaceted as the guy you describe there quite likely could be a legitimate albeit small niche market of ladies that would avail of the service IF they were aware that it was available. Not necessarily just for sex, but for general companionship when attending social events and functions. This might be of a particular interest for single ladies in executive positions that truly don't have time or patience for dating but would like to just have a night out with a wonderful man who had the unique ability to easily fit in and meld into the setting. Speaking from personal experience (not on the same level of course) over the years I have on many occasions been asked to accompany ladies to a variety of functions where they would prefer to attend with a particular type of man. I have been asked to escort ladies to graduation events, weddings, work Christmas events and charity dinners. In those situations there was no sex on the table and I strictly agreed to be their plus one. All in all it's probably happened a dozen times and in most cases these were ladies that were not friends just merely acquaintances or a friend of a friend that preferred not to go alone. They asked, and I humbly agreed, very flattered. Bottom line is, could a lady easily get "a man" to agree to be her companion, either social or sexual for a night? Yes! Could the same lady easily get "the man Gege described" to be her companion, either social or sexual for a night? Maybe not! So if marketed right I do believe there is a place for your friend in this business particularly in large urban centers. Additional Comments: Actually, after additional thought I believe that the market might be pretty large for a man like Gege's friend. The problem lies in finding a way to make that market aware that the discrete service is available. I think that many people think of the question in terms of, would a lady like Gege avail of this service? Maybe not but quite frankly all ladies are not like Gege and would not have their choice of fantastic men like her friend. Most ladies would have access to men just like most of us hobbiests and that's no fun ;)
Guest C*****tte Report post Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) I have paid for male strippers to dance for me and I quite enjoyed my time with them. I think in part it has to do with the treatment you get from someone who is on the job and takes pride in their work. While I may be one of their many clients, they were very good at making me feel special when I was with them. I have also experienced this when I have gone to strip clubs with female dancers. I very much like being on the client side of things perhaps because I have been on the provider side. It has allowed me to respect someone who takes pride and pleasure from this highly stigmatized form of work that is not for everyone. Experience has shown me I am in a different head space when I am the provider and when I am the client. All to say, I can see myself one day, perhaps when I have retired from escorting, hiring a sweet young stud to take care of my needs. Yes, vacationing and being someone's Mrs Robinson. Tanlines included! Edited May 31, 2013 by C*****tte one more silly thought to add
cyclo 30131 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) Here's a column by Dan Savage, with input from a former New York male escort, on the current market demand from women for male escorts versus the demand fom gay men for male escorts. The column was published exactly a year ago so it should reflect the current market. Q I'm a straight male from southern California and I really want to be a straight male escort. The problem is the industry is shrouded with deceptive "agencies" that take advantage of the situation. Also, it's not like there's a Male Escort 101 course that I can take to learn how to avoid these traps. I don't know if you can help, but I really want to get into this industry, hopefully through a reputable agency. Do you have any advice, can you put me in touch with any male escorts (preferably straight ones) so I can pick their brains, and do you know of a reputable agency in my area? --Seeking The Upright Deal A "There is no gigolo industry," says Dominick, the former escort who writes Ask Dominick, an advice column for male escorts and male escort wannabes at rentboy.com, a gay escort listings site. While Dominick's column focuses on issues that gay escorts confront, STUD, it's the "Male Escort 101" course you've been looking for. "What STUD is seeking is a fantasy---one that has been fueled by cultural products like American Gigolo and HBO's Hung," says Dominick. There are no reputable agencies in southern California---or anywhere else---that book male escorts to see female clients, just as there are no websites like rentboy.com for straight male escorts. "The fact of the matter is, almost all clients for escorts are male---whether they're looking for male, female or transgender escorts." Dominick speaks from experience: When he was working as an escort in New York City, his ads stated that he was available for male or female clients. "Over three years, I went on exactly one call with a female client, an attractive older woman who seemed to be working through some intimacy issues," says Dominick, "and one call with a married couple for a cuckolding scene, which was initiated by the husband. During that same period, I averaged about five-and-a-half calls per week with men. That gives you a measure of the demand from female clients." And no demand from female clients means no escort agencies or rentboy.com-style websites---at least no legit ones---for straight male escorts. "Because there are many more men clamouring to be gigolos than there is actual demand for gigolos," adds Dominick, "shadowy scam agencies come and go, 'guaranteeing' bookings with female clients to gullible young bucks---in exchange for monthly listing fees." Another option, is listing yourself as a "sexual healer" at a new-age site like sacred---------. "That site lists male and female sexual healers, for male and female clients, for such services as coaching, tantric awakening and sensual massage. If this is a direction you are thinking about, have at it," says Dominick. "Otherwise, my advice to you is to pursue a profession with the potential to bring you into contact with a wealthy female clientele---business consultant, art handler---and be exceptionally good and loving to all the women in your life." Guest Miss Jane TG Report post Posted June 1, 2013 I have been late on this thread! But my simple answer is that there no market for "straight" male escorts. No matter how good they look and how multifaceted they are! And by "no market" I mean they can't make a living out of it! If a gentlemen is willing to devote the time and energy for this sort of profession to see female clients on occasions, in my simple view, he is better of focusing on what smart men really do (i.e. making money) and ultimately he will achieve far better results career and indulgence wise! There might be some opportunities for BI and more so for Gay escorts. If there is historically any proof of organized male prostitution, then it would be for Gay escorts! The reason is simply that they share the same "capable" consumers (i.e. men). The trend for BI escorts has increased lately with the increased popularity of FFM scenarios including cuckold, bi cuckold, forced feminization etc. However, even in such circumstances the male provider is paid way less compared to the female provider. For example, there a surge now in Toronto for female providers offering sessions with bi males to accommodate clients requests for certain fetishes. While the female provider is paid $250 - $300/hr on average, the male provider is paid $50 - $100/hr!
SamanthaEvans 166767 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 I have known two straight male escorts. They certainly had everything that would fit the bill: they were good looking; highly educated; able to talk to anyone about anything, anytime; they had impeccable manners; and they were adept at fading into the background at the drop of a cocktail napkin. A fine wardrobe of beautifully-tailored suits completed the package. The one I knew in Toronto was having a very hard time earning much of anything despite his strong resemblance to Pierce Brosnan. He said he had occasional dates with middle-aged and older women who needed a companion for an evening, usually for a public event or a party. He might earn $100-200 for four or five hours. He contacted me because he was hoping I might have some ideas or that I might need a companion of my own occasionally. I had very few suggestions and no need of company, though. About four years ago, I had a meeting with a man here in Vancouver who was also looking for a way to improve his business. A little bit more rugged looking than the fellow in Toronto, he was very attractive in addition to being a world-class skier. I think he would surely have been able to make a part-time income, but he was having little success. Like the man in Toronto, he said he might have a date every 4-6 weeks for an evening including dinner, an opening or other event and, as he put it, "tucking the lady into bed" later. I ran into him at a charity event one evening. He looked fantastic and was as charming and debonair as humanly possible. For essentially the same evening--drinks, dinner, the charity program and some private time--he earned $250; I earned $1500. He finally gave up on escorting and became a ski instructor for middle-aged people who'd never learned to ski before. If there are women interested in straight male escorts, where do they find out about them? What other kinds of supports are there for the idea that this might be something they should consider? For example, if women's magazines were to occasionally mention this option or feature it as a focus article, that might make a difference, but those publications tend to be very conventional in their attitudes and approach. I know almost nothing about gay male escorts, but my impression is that even they have a hard time making a living in our profession. Some are more successful with sugar daddy arrangements than with conventional advertising and agencies, but I think it would be rare for many of them to earn anything comparable to many female escorts' income.
Angelic 423 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 I join few posters point of view, there is no real market for straight escort male. Only if bi or Gay but mostly Gay. I dont think he can come to any girl mind to paid for sex, regardless how the guy look sexy model look it, girls have always the possibility to seduce and enjoy a night stand Even in the uk the market is mostly Bi and Gay
Wolf Knight 29667 Report post Posted June 1, 2013 I know you3e right, the ability to generate constant income is definately not the same for a straight male Sp. However I'm left to ponder why? Surely, just as there are many men that desire companionship there has to be women who also desire companionship? Is it a cultural thing, that women feel it to be more of a taboo than men do? Or is it that because it's not as mainstream as other forms of SP's it's not top of mind and women don't think of it as an option to their needs? I find this interesting. Perhasps it's because I personally know a few ladies who would definately avail of this NSA option if they were aware that it was easily available.
