Guest *ig*a** Report post Posted October 17, 2012 I was wondering how much time members here spend in the Cerb chatroom. I have not done this yet and was wondering about it.
Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 None at all, so don't ask me whether you should :) To be fair I should probably say that I avoid the chat-room for any particular reason... I just don't use it.

Gia Wren Marlowe 67985 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 I just started using chat in the last couple of days. I find the lines of text visually hard to follow, to be honest. But it's fun in its way. If you can keep track of who is saying what to whom then I think it can be a great way to talk to other members in real time and get to know them a bit better. I am hoping I will get the hang of it, but it might not be for me.

Mister T 45020 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 I use it when i'm home and not otherwise busy. It's great to catch with member i know. Makes things a bit more interactive, and get to know other members better. I just started using chat in the last couple of days. I find the lines of text visually hard to follow, to be honest. The great thing about chat, if you find it hard to follow the multitude of conversation, is that you can chat in private with a limited number of people. Makes things easier to follow if you wish to know one or two persons at a time. I use frequently enough.
The General 11309 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 I am one of the regulars in chat, sometimes just to see who is around, chat and sometimes to bump into the ladies. If I am looking for a spontaneous encounter, I will sometimes use chat for that too, but less so lately.
Guest Report post Posted October 18, 2012 Chat is not my thing. I just like talking to clients one on one. I just want you guys to know that I do not mind chatting via pm or email. I actually really enjoy receiving pm's with some detail about the person. If you have checked out my website and you still have a question feel free to pm me. (My website answers a lot of questions) I'm on and off my computer throughout the day and I don't mind receiving friendly pm's and I don't mind replying to them. The reason I say this is I receive pm's saying to come to chat and since it is not my thing I always reply that I don't mind talking via pm. I think that I put myself out there enough by my threads. So if you want to talk guys, come and say hello.
Guest S*ar* Report post Posted October 18, 2012 I've checked it out a couple of times during my short time here and left as I don't feel it is for me. I have little to contribute and idle chatter isn't my thing. I prefer face to face conversations and email exchanges as need be.
DukeSSk 3430 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 I used to regularly check it out when I first joined CERB, but haven't recently.
