Avatarism, the New Religion!

Okay, so I'm starting a new religion, and I'm calling it Avatarism.

Its basic tenet is that we are basically just avatars for beings which

exist far, far away. Knowing that interstellar physical travel is impossible

for them, they have developed techniques to mindtravel across the cosmos

and imbed their souls in the bodies of compatible lifeforms. For what reason

they are inhabiting us is unknown, so we must try to see beyond this world

and our ego and discover our true souls, which are these alien beings.

Religious use of intoxicating and psychoactive substances, meditation,

and sexual orgasm are our methods of enlightenment.
