Its harder for us attached gents to get out now on Sat. nights no hockey means having to spend more time at home.

I'd imagine better. I'm from Toronto, and even though I'm not a big fan, I've seen people drop a ton of money of tickets, concession, etc. My friends go to bars to watch the game and spend a lot on drinks. All of a sudden, no hockey related expense.
