A***** A***** 510 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 There have been times, when my signature states it can only have "200 characters" and it won't let me "center" it. Also, are you able to place your banner in the signature as well? Is this something I am missing (most likely) or is it a bug/glitch? If anyone can add their two cents, please do! Akhenaton 221 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 My Dear Angela, I have a signature pic, properly uploaded and it does not show up, but it's there So I think you are right it's a bit bug and a bit "we don't know", lol. I tried fitting a few lines in, and got no complaints from the system, how are you centering (by hand space, space, space, or tab, or using the center feature in a wordprocessor, then importing ?) that might also make a difference, tabs and "formatting" from wps sometimes get missinterpreted by cut and paste or importing, you might want to try the space thing if it's not what you were doing. For the banner, I did notice some folks had what looks like a banner, including a working link in the nackground, but I am niot sure if it's a 'banner" or something else that is not really in their sig. Hopefully someone has a better answer then mine Good luck !
A***** A***** 510 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 I was trying to put some bulk html into my signature for a slide show, so I guess those permissions are not allowed here? I was wondering what can we do, or not do for that matter with a signature:?:
mod 135640 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 No, HTML is not permitted as it could allow BAD things to be done. You can use BB code however. the stuff between the [] brackets that the advanced editor does such as font, color, images called fro a URL, etc... I had no idea that HTML wasn't allowed, and I haven't quite figured out this BB code yet either. Thanks for the heads up!
