aubreyxxx 20240 Report post Posted December 28, 2012 Over the Christmas holidays I had a request from a client who is not from my province. He had requested a duo which I had arranged. He than cancelled due to funds unavailable and than rescheduled and than calncelled. Than wanted an appointment with just me to which he cancelled again Because of the constant planning and cancelling I asked him to pay 150.00 cancellation fee and he seemed quite agreeable to this idea I received a message from him this morning with accusations that he has text messages on his cell phone saying that he better pay up or else and do right by her or else. I never gave his cell phone number out at all and I feel like he is just saying these so that he has a reason to not pay the cancellation fee, which I find extremely pathetic. He is saying that the text messages came from an unavailable number that he can not propvide - but not once have i ever received a text from a number that did not show up, as far as I knew this was not possible. A number is always available when a text message is sent It is one thing to not want to pay it - no big deal if he doesnt, but to insult my reputation because he doesnt want to pay is another. I am not even worried about the money anymore, but his accusations are unfair? How should I handle this - just ignore the message and forward the members name to the SP only area? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Guest Report post Posted December 28, 2012 Honesty, I've been in a similar situation. I forwarded the number, his handle, email and other information forward just so other girls can take a note of this time waster. If he is stupid enough to pass up on a fine lady like urself, he is CLEARLY just making up excuses to try and avoid giving you some money. Dont be worried about him hun, I wouldnt let it bring u down. Those who know you, know you well and will more than likely pay no mind to whatever it is he has to say. Additional Comments: Personally , Im not too firm on cancellation fees unless a client actually shows up to an appointment after standing me up before. The situation is not in ur control if the client is not there with you , its almost pointless to even consider asking him for the money. Just my opinion hun
Andee 220524 Report post Posted December 28, 2012 They can use all the excuses in the book, valid or not but in the end there is no way to force anyone to pay a cancellation fee. When I visited the Maritimes last June, I had 3 cancellations from cerb memebers, one who I obtained a reference for, who promised to send me a cancellation fee and never did. The other two never bothered even acknowledging me. So if I ever travel there again, they will definitely be on my do not see list. The next time I will probably ask for deposits in order to avoid this. However I don't generally like asking for deposits for the simple reason that if something goes wrong with my plans, then I am obligated to return the deposit, and there are limited ways to do this anonymously. In the end, unfortunately whether we like it or not, it's just part of doing business.
kechara 2526 Report post Posted December 28, 2012 Aubrey, all I can say is that as a client and a cerb member. I know do not mess around with the ladies of cerb ..:) I would expect that the other ladies would know through the SP only area that I was causing some type of issue. I realized there was that area almost as soon as I joined so there is no excuse.
roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted December 28, 2012 Well once I had to cancel on a lady at the last minute (due to illness). I paid the lady her donation (plus what she would have received from me in tip ;-) ) in full before even being asked. All I asked for from her, after my profound apologies is the email address to use for sending payment via email money transfer. Why should she be out, even a penny, the cost of this outcall because, even though I couldn't help it, it was because of me that the encounter couldn't go forward. And in another case, I had a three hour encounter booked. Due to my truck breaking down the money budgeted for the encounter had to go to truck repairs. I postponed, by about three weeks, our encounter. But I increased the time of our encounter from three to four hours, plus gave her a little extra in tip (over and above the usual) plus gift As for threats, well report him to the SP only area. But beyond that there isn't much more you can do. His threat was more just so you wouldn't pursue getting a cancellation fee, that's all. I had veiled threats made to me by an escort, all I can do is not see her again. Another ripped me off. I just haven't nor will I ever see her again. Nature of this lifestyle as in life, there are clients who are gentlemen, and those that are jerks. Likewise there are SP's who are ladies, and those who are, well not ladies. DukeSSk 3430 Report post Posted December 28, 2012 I've seen some advertisements asking for a partial deposit in the event of a prior cancellation. Seems like a plausible solution. As for enforcing cancellation fees, I'm not sure.
