Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted April 3, 2010 Decided on something outdoor today and headed to Barbs this afternoon for the first time in almost a year. A good start as a very beautiful friendly waitress with very pretty face and cute dimples served me with all smiles (asked me how come I am not outside or on the patio enjoying the whether!!), but this was more or less where the good ends:(. They started an hour later at 3:00 pm with the first lady on the stage and by 4:00 pm I was out heading back home. They had a total of three girls in the bar. May be time to call for a private one now lol:-D. PS may be today was an exception rather than a rule at Barbs (I hope so), because of Easter long weekend most people head out or watching the Sens. I remember 3-4 years ago on any Saturday afternoon, the place was packed with beautiful ladies most of them my favorites and some my friends lol. Good old days!!!. Thanks Peachka. I am an early day time person (besides I very much prefer to be the first dancer's customer to take her to CR for hygiene reasons as I am not sure how many would wash out after each dance) but my point that 3 -4 years ago when I was a regular, it used to be crowded with beautiful ladies exact same time and day. Likely (and hopefully) it is not a new open CR syndromes but rather it was so quiet because it was Easter (and Sens were playing and our first nice whether of the year) rather than a usual case on Saturday afternoons. Cheers You might want to delay your visits to the late afternoon, early evening. You will get a better selection & they will be 'fresh' as they are just starting around 6Pm or so. Hey Reddog01 - are you talking about Erica or Britney at Barbs. Both are tall blondes with big boobs. Erica is great in the CR and Britney (I cannot remeber her old name) is a hoot to talk to and in the CR. My favourite is still Loanna who works mostly days and early evenings. It sounds like it must have improved as I never really liked it all that much. I found the dancers rather snoby and the watiresses rather pushy. They would requrie you get a new drink for each stage show and if you didn't they sent the manager over. It was before lap dances and even though no clubs in Ottawa allowed touching, the "milage" at Barbs was much lower than anywhere else (the dancers would stay about 3 feet away from you). I find it really friendly, good service, beautiful, beautiful woman, and quite a variety to chose from. It helps that I've been a regular when I'm in town, so I get to know people there. Whereas you need to fire a flare to get service at some clubs, the ladies at Barb's are pretty good at keeping you supplied with drinks, and are friendly to boot. Actually I prefer it when the leave me alone and not hassle me to buy another drink, especially during a stage show. I guess others feel differently. Reddog01 30280 Report post Posted April 17, 2010 This is my favorite SC in Ottawa and I think I have visited them all. The service is generally good and I don't feel pressured when nursing a beer.. When I am on my own I usually can find a spot at the bar. Some of the girl?s sit nearby and all of them take a walk by so it is easy to catch her eye if you want. The atmosphere is friendly and the overall size of the club makes it feel more intimate than the Barefax or Nuden. I have been away for a while but dropped by once two weeks ago in the early evening. I saw some of the same girls that I knew from a year ago but there are a lots of new ones as well. My only complaint is the CR. They cut the walls down about a foot or so in-between the cubicles. I have been going to Barb's for over 20 years & I don't ever remember being required to buy a drink for each stage show. That contradicts the liquor laws of Ontario. There was another very attractive lady with long black hair but she was busy! The ones they did put on stage had so many songs in-between that I felt I was getting ripped off just "waiting" for them to return. I did meet a real cutie - brunette - had a nice time in the back. She told me it was real busy the day before - lots of girls and customers, too. I guess I just went on the wrong day ! Yes, she is more "busty" now, and was always the "sweatheart". She can maintain your attention, thats for sure and makes you come back for more.
