sparhawk 4169 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 An elderly Chinese man had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the man bringing home only one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do. After 2 years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the man one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house." The old man smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?" "That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them." "For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house." Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. Have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!
Bully 383 Report post Posted April 20, 2016 "I was educated inline with the basic premise ,work, work, work. You're only a valuable human being if you work. This is utterly wrong. Half working-half dancing-that is the right mixture. I myself have danced too little." Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

WhereIRoam 21825 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 About five or six years ago my mother had a serious problem with her thyroid gland and this caused her to gain a fair amount of weight. Also during this time her hair quickly thinned out and she started wearing wigs. This bothered her as until this point she was truly a beautiful woman in a physical sense and she found herself, as we too noticed, depressed and no longer feeling this physical beauty. It changed her character, who she was. This brought our family closer than it already was, to help her. I bought her a picture to hang in the bathroom and hung it beside the mirror. Although not the very same, this is what is written on it. Although she still looks the same, a little extra weight and her hair has thinned out, she no longer wears a wig and has bounced back from this and is now even more beautiful than ever. I am eternally grateful for this. WIR
Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 WhereIRoam.... Ohhh boy did your post ever hit home for me and I shead tears! My mother is very ill. I am 80% her solo caretaker. With my mother she suffered with Lupis for many years, surrvived a coma 2 times of 8 week durations, and once we thought that was under control she was diagonised with COPD. Although she has not smoked in 20 years, she worked around some chemicals. Due to all the medications etc, she has lost so much hair as well. Sadly for her it wont grow back, best we can do is try to prevent more hair loss:/ I often wonder if she could wear a wig, as she also suffers with hottness, weakness, sweats.. And feel a wig coyld maybe make it even harder for her???? It does change a woman greatly! I take steps now for healthy hair to prevent hair loss, us fine haired ladies have to take care;) Thanks for sharing your story! Meant alot to me! It can be isolating when you are a caregiver to a parent. But I am blessed to have the chance to do it for her as well.

Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted November 2, 2018 Wanted to bring this thread alive again. Think a positive and inspirational thread should be enjoyed in this crazy and confusing world we live in today. This isn't a quote from anyone famous. This is a story I want to share of something that happened a few days ago. Years have gone by since I was in touch with a young lady (who will remain anonymous ). It had been 8 years, and she reached out to me. She had explained that she was so very sorry for how she had treated me when we ended our friendship. She explained she was in a very selfish time of her young life. She was 20 when we met, and 22 when we had to go our own ways. She asked me if i could find in my heart to forgive her and she wants to make amends. I was devastated with the way she left things with me. Was very tumultuous and cruel ending:( Without any further explanation I quickly interrupted and said" of course my sweet, my love doesnt quickly fade for my friends". And we all have regrets and things we are ashamed of. Yes, I have forgiven you many years ago already. Once hearing that, she told me she has cancer. And that it made her realize she had burnt all her bridges and needs my friendship again. This broke me into tears. Glad to report she will be fine, cancer did not spread. But had both breasts removed, and barely 30 years of age now. So no matter what grudge you are holding onto, remember that there are much bigger and better places to focus our energy on. Thats not to say become a doormat, but allow room to forgive as well. My affirmation on this, is that truth, honesty and love prevailed. 4

Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted November 8, 2018 From one of my favorite male porn star, Chris Crocker ! Fun fact: Walking in the energy of love does not include being a pushover or doormat. Walking in the energy of love does not mean you won’t ever get angry or hurt. It means u will forgive, live & let live.. but stand your ground when motherfuckers walk in the energy of hate.
