squirtingmilf 1982 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 I'm a movie freak lol The Judge is by far, hands down the best movie I've seen so far this year but then again I have a mad crush on RDJR, so it can't be helped that I am bias. Oculus - which is supposed to be a "scary" movie, wasn't, bit of a yawner for me. Annabelle - same, pretty boring. Ouija - lame Nightcrawler - not my type of flick but Jake Gyllenhaal is definitely a creeper in it for sure. November Man- was okay Lucy- loved it John Wick - thought it was supremely overrated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (don't ask lol, but I had to watch it) .. It was okay. Life of Crime - was interesting Good People - was interesting Begin Again - I really loved this movie and Mark Ruffalo is nice to look at :) Gone Girl - crazy good movie. This is Where I Leave You - It had it's funny moments Chef - loved this movie too Godzilla - interesting remake Boyhood - very interesting movie, I enjoyed it Amazing Spiderman - didn't like it at all Guardians of the Galaxy - same as above Transcendence - was different but Johnny Depp is always hit or miss Purge Anarchy - loved it, because it's twisted lol Sex Tape - big yawner, not Cameron's best by any means. No Good Deed - was good. Neighbours - ridiculously dumb Robocop - interesting remake (wish he'd take off his helmet, dude under there is smokin hot - guy from Star Trek that plays Bones) X-men and Captain America - all I can say is yummy lol I've seen tons more, but that's about the gist of it lately lol
castle 38816 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 I just saw . A pretty entertaining horror flick. A few too many cheap "jump scares" IMO and visually I found it borrowed a little too much from the tired "found footage" genre (even though it's not actually a found footage movie)......but those are minor complaints.....overall I thought it was a pretty interesting and different take on the whole werewolf mythos. someguy 67067 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 Just saw the Hunger Games: Mocking Jay. It is a very good movie. well cone, but only part 1 of 2. The ending was abrupt, but leaves you wanting more. Now looking forwards to seeing part 2 to see how it ends.
Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 Saw The Judge last week with Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr and wouldn't be surprised if there was an Oscar nomination for both of then in the near future. It was really good but I had to go see it at the less expensive Cineplex in the east end because it was already out of other movie theatres. I'm just glad I got to see it. loopie 15358 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 I caught 'Whiplash' and thought it was a really solid drama with excellent performances from the two leads. It's about a teenage drummer in a highly competitive arts academy and the intense dynamic between he and his ruthless instructor. I found it a really engaging drama. AMC rocks![/quote'] Agree with you about AMC...every Saturday morning over coffee, watch The Rifleman Not really a Don Knotts fan (except for Andy of Mayberry) Like the oldies (and westerns) though, got AMC and Silver Screen Classic RG
Guest Lep*******1**7 Report post Posted December 13, 2014 The book thief is a great movie, with great acting by the young actor. Sad bits but very funny and uplifting at times. Additional Comments: Got the title wrong although the Book Thief is a movie based on a book of the same name...Got that. Should have said young actor not youthful.... peacectryguy 12547 Report post Posted December 14, 2014 Well, finally watched "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes". Not going to buy the blu-ray until the price drops after xmas but a very good movie, imo. Recently purchased "Sin City- A Dame to Kill For" on blu-ray. Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez did a great job. And Eva Green is spectacular.
