someguy 67067 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 Hi, I was doing some research on Magnesium oil, and have found that it helps get rid of aches and pains, and helps relax the muscles and relieve stress. Take a look at this link. http://drsircus.com/medicine/magnesium/uses-of-magnesium-oil Have any of you MA's use Magnesium oil to massage your clients. If not, What are you favourite massage oils to use on your clients and why. Thanks for your replies.
Midnite-Energies 110563 Report post Posted February 23, 2013 Thanks for the wonderful link. I'm always interested in alternative and natural therapies and this is very interesting. I use LUSH massage bars which are all natural, melt into the skin for moisturizing and soothing effects and the ones I like contain ingredients to relax and ease muscles and overall tension. Very good for the body and skin. I am looking into alternatives that have the same impact as a base and perhaps mixing my own "therapies" for the clients needs. Magnesium oil may be a good addition. Guest *l**e Report post Posted February 23, 2013 I think sometimes people forget about the stuff that is already around us, easy to find, and also has nice qualities to it. I use an oil that has chamomile in it now, but in the past I have used -olive oil...good for the skin, natural, not much residue -grape seed oil...a little more "oily", very nice to work with -fractionated almond oil...awesome stuff. a but pricey and harder to find. -every massage place now sells massage gels...I don't like them, but lots do I was actually thinking about trying the body shop one.
