Guest W***ledi*Time Report post Posted June 29, 2009 I am somewhat taken aback to see that my post-count on CERB is perilously close to rolling over to the 200-mark. How this can really be possible, I cannot answer for ... but I've reviewed the evidence, and danged if it isn't so. (I haven't had 200 thoughts worth communicating in my entire life, so obviously quantity and quality cannot have gone hand-in-hand here.) Time to take stock. When I joined CERB, it sure as heck wasn't to post stuff in the forums. It was to get access to the PM system so I could have a chance at having some fun with one particular great-sounding lady who only accepted clients through Cerb (I had much earlier discovered the very existence of Cerb through a link on a different lady's website.) In fact, because I had read thousands of Cerb forum-postings in the months before I joined, I was very aware of (what I considered to be) the condescending attitude displayed, and abusive language used, in a number of the older threads -- and I carefully told myself that I would never take the chance of getting involved in such a potentially unfriendly situation ... by ever putting even one post of my own up to serve as a target for other members to shoot at. Well, after I had been on Cerb awhile, the realization gradually dawned on me that all this impolite stuff didn't seem to be showing up at all in current threads, and that the whole atmosphere here was much more friendly than I had thought it once was. (Credit for this, if I am not mistaken, is due in good part to the labours of Mod, as well as to the support of many many other members.) So, one day I ... made a post. So far so good, so another day arrived when I ventured to make ... another one. Down the slippery slope I went, till one day a couple of months later I was shocked to discover that I had 20 posts. Unimaginable! Well, you know the rest of the numbers story ... 200 posts and many months later, I have been able to tap into the expertise and opinions of uncounted members, from which I have benefited greatly, and for which I am very thankful. Many opinions that have been written here on the forums I've agreed with, and many opinions I've disagreed with. Both categories are educational and enlightening. And in my time here, virtually all discussions have been very civil and diplomatic. There is a marvelous foundation of good-will and comeraderie here on Cerb. That's why I've stayed in the forums, and suddenly find myself with so many posts that I can't rightly remember them all. Thank you, Mod. Thank you, guys. Thank you, ladies. Ha ha ... did you think I wasn't going to wax lyrical about the ladies? CERB is really, for me, the ultimate win-win "marketing tool". The combination available here of reading recommendations from the guys, and also reading the interesting and personable postings and words of the ladies themselves, is an amazingly effective "seller" in my case. It has made it easy for me to find wonderful ladies -- who are also of the right mindset to be able to also put up with me. A couple of my happiest liaisons have been with ladies I would not have "looked at" twice, had my choices been based solely on their websites or other ads -- it was their personalities as revealed on the Cerb forums that captured my interest in the first place. Win-Win. I win the grand prize of having some good fun; the lady's (consolation) prize for investing time on the Cerb forums is more (i.e., my) business (hey, I said it was a consolation prize!) So far, I have been talking about "close to home", here in Nova Scotia. But in May I also put the power of the Cerb Tourist Bureau (ha ha) to work in planning one particular aspect of my vacation trip to Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal. It turned out to be a very "educational" vacation for me, in a nudge-nudge wink-wink sort of way. And the main lesson from my careful research was: Ontario companions are just as wonderful as Nova Scotia companions (and after all, there could be no higher praise for Ontario ladies than that!!) Every single one of the six ladies I met there were as interesting and personable as they seemed to be in their own Cerb postings ... a 100%- successful adventure like that would be impossible (and inconceivable!) without a place like CERB to guide and facilitate it. Talk about your win-win "marketing tool"! (Unfortunately for me, the Montreal part of my educational dreams was derailed before it began, by my being exposed to the flu in my host's household). So thank you again: CERB, Mod, Ladies, and Gents. I've kinda grown fond of this place. Cheers, Wrinkled @
jerican 657 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 I echo every word. I shudder to think of the disasters a n00b like me would have encountered without this board! And as I am still a relative newbie to this I rely heavily on the reco's and conversations I read on here. The funny thing about posting fairly often is I get PM's from users from time to time asking questions...Yikes! I answer but keep thinking (and tell them) that I am as new to this as they probably are! Congrats on 200 Wrinkled and keep going, I am enjoying your posts and would like to see more! Especially when you tour and start writing about some of the amazing ladies in the Ottawa area! Akhenaton 221 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) It is a rather friendly community, some of the other boards can be downright nasty at times (for hobbiests anyway) and horrible on laides. I do have a membership on a few, but more often then not come back here. Glad to see I am not the only one feeling that way, lol. ROFL, I just noticed I am past the 300 mark, lol. wow. I don't think I have ever posted so much on any other board !!! Edited June 29, 2009 by Akhenaton added a line

coachg 388 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 I find the membership of CERB to be incredibly friendly and helpful.....everyone is pretty easy going, lots of people are downright funny and the women on here are not only beautiful, but very down to earth ladies who don't mind sharing their thoughts. Great place to learn and share!
buggernot 588 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Well you've had some good insight yourself Wrinkled, so you are just as much a part of it as anyone else. And what you said about the marketing advantages for some ladies resonates for myself as well. I've met a few from this board that appealed to me because of their words and attitude, where just a picture and a menu of services would not have distinguished themselves enough for me to take the chance on someone new. Granted, there aren't a lot of girls that have the time to spend or willingness to post, but the ones that do give us a bit extra...regardless if we acquire their services or not. So thanks girls ;)
Cato 160314 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 I just hit 200 posts today, as well. And I too have never been so involved in another online community. It's fun and informative, and has put me in touch with gorgeous SP's, who I wouldn't have discovered otherwise, and with friendly fellow hobbyists. So let me join wrinkled in thanking the members of the cerb community.

Guest f***2f*** Report post Posted June 30, 2009 WTG!! I too joined for the recos and never thought of becoming a poster at all!! Some great people on here and I wouldn't consider seeing a lady not recommended here. It sure cuts down on the possibility of getting ripped off. The lovely ladies of CERB are the creme de la creme!! Ariane Valmont 332 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 As an SP, I can tell you that CERB is the friendliest board for us ladies. Most people here are very respectful. It is much appreciated. Hooray for CERB and its members! :boobies:
MandalayBay 575 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 The CERB community feels like a family to me. I have been brought to tears by verbal attacks on other boards by hobbiests and SPs who have never even met me. The mod does a fantastic job at keeping this place the best escort forum Canada has to offer. The people I've met from here are absolutely amazing! VedaSloan 119179 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 I really love CERB. I've met so many great people because of this site, and even made a few friends. It is so hard to meet other people who are okay with your career choices and it's nice to meet other SP's and hobbiests who you can talk to and they know where you're coming from. Having that understanding support network is invaluable.
PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 I think I 'm going to cry..all this love.. can you feel it? can you dig it? all kidding aside.. I thoroughly enjoy CERB, the ladies here are all 10's in my book...I look forward to meeting more lovely ladies, like Erin, Mandalay Bay, Ariane Valmont, SexxySophie,(such a long and great list) so I'll stop there. CERB has kept me away from other boards, and bait and switch advertisments-(special thanks to CK). So I tip my hat to the outstanding members here, and most of all to MOD who does an excellent job. OKAY NOW-GROUP HUG....MMMMM feel's good now doesn't it!

d*mm*y 887 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 It is the ladies that make the difference here, the perspective and opinion is refreshing. I like being able to ask a lady a direct question without having to rely on the hearsay of another member as to what she is like. And I am probably guilty of some questionable posts but what can I say I have a big mouth! (at least one part has to be big!!)

MandalayBay 575 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 I'm going on vacation tonight until July 10th and am going to miss my conversations on CERB as it has truly become part of my daily life. I think I'm going to suffer form CERB withdrawal while away. I might sneak my laptop and see if I can ocassionally find internet access to touch base and see what's going on! mod 135639 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 Your all making me feel warm and fuzzy inside! Thank you all for the nice comments - it makes our job worth it! It's very satisfying to know that our concept of a positive board works. We felt that a board that was friendly (especially to all the ladies) was exactly what the industry needed and was missing. I hated going to the other boards and reading slanderous comments about the ladies and god forbid if they tried to defend themselves (or a nice guy tried to speak up for them) they were just shot down and bullied into leaving the site. It was horrible and sad. We have proven that this concept works so hopefully in time the other forums will follow our lead. (and I think some are slowly seeing the light) I know some of the board owners think that the drama and the bashing bring more people to the site (and that may be true) but those people just wreck the site for everyone else as they get off on slandering and ganging up on women and it becomes a lot less enjoyable. Plus the ladies will not want to take bookings from guys on sites like that in fear of a bad review or worse... the guy being a bully and treating her like crap. I hope that cerb's rules and format make this site uninteresting to those guys so they stay away. It does take a lot more effort to run a board this way and it's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination! It's hard to run because it must be run as "all or nothing" meaning sometimes the negative comments or negative reviews are legitimate warnings but we can not allow one and not the other. The community that we have here works together and we have an amazing group of members and contributors! I am happy to be part of the community and I am very grateful to everyone who participates on cerb to make it such a great place.
Suzirider 737 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) (Yesus Mod, I tried really hard to get the next post in, but you beat me to it. Just found I can quote from another thread. !) Guys, imagine if we could encourage ALL the girls in Canada to migrate to this Board ? I believe that CERB is (and even more in the future) improving the status of SP/Escourts. What if in the media someday (Malarek types) you could read, "prostitution is blah, blah...but then there is the aberration of CERB". :!: Anyone else here interested in a regular update of the Usage Stats. I count about 1500 new Active members from about 6 months ago. I am curious of the girl/guy ratio. :?: The cerb site has 13,450 members registered (and 7000+ unique visitors a day some days over 10000 visitors) - See charts below... Now only 1,991 registered members are "active members" here on cerb and most of the visitors reading these threads never register for membership (Active means they send pm's or make posts) so this shows how many people just come to the site and read the threads and do not contribute. So getting pm's about photos from low number members is probably very common as in order to send you a PM they must register here and many guys would not register until they find someone they want to learn more about. It's hard to believe the numbers until you view the server logs but the traffic on this site with just people reading the threads is insane. This screen shot shows the stats for the year (Notice the Yellow "Visits" are the unique number of visitors per month on the right (241'390 visitors last month) and the daily average is in yellow on the left The next screen shot is this month - On average we have over 8500 unique visitors per day.
