Bunny Trails

Every year since the kids have been old enough to pick something up and put it in a basket, the Easter Bunny has left a trail of jelly bean Easter Eggs from their bedroom door downstairs to the dining room table where their Easter treats awaited them.

 

Our last child still living at home is buying a condo and moving in May.

 

The Easter Bunny (that's me) just finished laying out the last trail.

 

That would be one of those milestones you don't see coming until it is here.

 

I marked the occasion by getting gourmet jelly beans.

Aww such a nice post and a sad but happy occasion to celebrate. Your child starting on their own and your new freedom- Be proud that they have afforded themselves the ability to buy thier home, a very big accomplishment and now you have your home to yourself, yes it will seem empty but remember she/he has left your nest not you. I wish you a very happy easter.

My son is 20, 21 on Thursday and I hid some chocolate around the house this morning!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

 

He didn't seem to mind, despite the fact we both had hangovers!!! I'm glad he takes after my side of his family and still has that playful side to him...my father is 68 and I kid you not, he was as excited as my little cousins were for the Easter egg hunt this morning!!!
