clearlycanadian7583 1199 Report post Posted May 20, 2013 First off I wanna say hey nice to be back here, I'm a former member who took a break from hobbying for a couple of years. Looks like the site and community have grown in a postive way which is nice. What I wanna know is when did texting become ok, before I left the community providers would have things like "no texting" or " will not answer texts" in their ads. I like that now I can text to setup an encounter. So in short, when did texting become ok? And is considered to be ok to ask in a text? P.S. I'm looking for a suggestion for a return encouter I've looked over the recs And I have a short list but I would like to who you think is on top of their game right now if you don't mind please send me a PM with your suggestion.
Cleo Catra 178382 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Texting is accepted by many girls now, and for me, I like it because it's easy to answer a text no matter where I may be when I receive it. I'm rarely sitting at my incall, I may be out shopping/at the gym/having lunch, etc, and it's hard to answer a phone call and especially hard to answer calls such as 'what are your restrictions' when I'm out in those situations. But a text can be answered anywhere. Also, if we miss a phone call, we don't call back - but a text doesn't need to be answered instantly. One texting tip is to keep it quick, ask your questions in as few texts as possible, it can be frustrating when the phone goes off a dozen times in a few minutes when one or two texts would have sufficed. Not sure what you mean by 'ok to ask', but if you mean okay to ask availability/rates/etc, my answer is yes :)
DukeSSk 3430 Report post Posted May 23, 2013 Most ladies indicate their preferred method of communication in their ads. If texts aren't ok, most probably that it'll be clearly mentioned. Welcome back! :)

Nicolette Vaughn 294340 Report post Posted May 24, 2013 I think texting has become more acceptable now as the speed of technology increases along with the instant gratification it brings. Also, some SPs have realized that it has worked for them as we can't always answer the phone or perhaps we're among family or friends where we can't answer the necessary questions that clients ask. As long as texting isn't abused in the sense that a person isn't going to ask a million questions text by text, it's fine as long as there is a light at the end of the tunnel in terms of getting straight to the point. The texts I like to receive that know my time isn't being wasted goes as follows..."Hello Nicolette, my name is xxxxx and I was wondering if you're free today at xxx hours for half hour? Thanks very much....xxxxx" There was a recent thread regarding sending a text and simply saying "Hi" to an SP. This is fine as long as the next text is going to get straight to the point. And if you're wondering about what services an SP provides, ask it all in one text. Sometimes we are driving or doing whatever and one text after another that drags on for 10 or 15 minutes can sometimes go against the efficiency in how we run our business and book appts. Hope this helps. :)
