Suzirider 737 Report post Posted August 12, 2009 You know your getting old when ? You start to understand why "old people" like big sedans and drive so slow. You drop names like Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Dean Martin and you get "who's that ?". You spend more time tending your front lawn and rose bushes. You start to listen to more classical music. Feel guilty about riding a loud bike. You have to fish for your specs to use your cell phone. :? (Texting and driving is REALLY STUPID)

castle 38816 Report post Posted August 12, 2009 I'm only 30 and I feel like this! I'm constantly mentioning actos, movies, bands and some of my co-workers look at me like I grew a second head. It's pretty bad when you mention Alice Cooper and someone asks you "who's she?", lol.

Andee 220524 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 I feel old when I have younger clients come to see me and I realize I was like 20 or 25 when they were born. One guy who is KISS fan was quite taken by the fact that I saw them in Montreal at the Forum back in 1976. He just thought that was so cool. He wanted to know more about what it was like "back then" than concentrating on the session. I told him to look at "That 70s Show" and it pretty well sums it up. I went to see Nazareth at the Navan Fair last weekend. I would say most of the crowd were 35+ I felt like I was back in the 1980s hanging with my friends. But the thing I hate the most is having to wear progressive bifocal lenses cuz I can't see the fine print on anything anymore!:butt:
