You probably had a poster on the wall of them from the record store. Or maybe pages cut out of celeb mags, like Tiger Beat, taped everywhere. I know I did. I have been lustful my whole life, and l and was definitely "boy crazy" as a young teen. At one point there was no paint visible on my walls because it was all posters of boys. I had several celeb crushes over the years, but I vividly remember my very first was Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
