Andee 220524 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 I received a phone call from someone asking me if the pics of my friend Malaysian Beauty Kathy on CERB were real. I assumed he called after seeing our duo announcement. The answer is yes. I have met Kathy in person and even saw the lingereie and room those pics were taken in, so I don't think I can be any more sure of that. When I asked him why he would ask such a question, he said he just wanted to make sure because there were a lot of fakes being posted on CL. To which I wanted to respond, but before I could, got hung up on: This is not CL. This is CERB. I am not going to risk my reputation in associating with, or working with someone posting fake pictures I think it is mildly racist to assume because one Asian agency posting fake pics on CL means all Asians post fake pics. I think the Cowboy's Diary shows most of the scammers on there are actually caucasians. I can't remember EVER being asked that questions, "are your pics real". Do you think someone posting fake pics would actually admit it to you? Finally, next time you want to ask someone a question, don't hang up abruptly when the person is in mid-sentence. You were chicken and called from a payphone.
Annessa 22743 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Nothing makes me more livid than when someone asks me if my pics are actually me or if i can send them more pics because they "just want to make sure" I feel like telling them how much money I've dropped on my photographers in toronto and SanFran and if they really need more pics (coz they're still not convinced) to go and stick something up their rear (in less polite words of course). I dont, I just usually dont respond.....they're probably just collecting the pics anyway I had a gent a couple months ago who browsed all my pics on here but wouldn't confirm his outcall booking until I sent him a cell-phone cam pic of myself taken at that very moment to confirm it was me. I answered "lol, your loss" as an indi on cerb, like many well-reputable ladies I have a lot to lose posting fake pics. Men...do your homework as my reviews state my pics are accurate.......guys who need you to lead them by the hand to all that happily-offered feedback should be given the ruler-slap on the wrist to do their homework. labialover 690 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Its interesting, even when pictures are real, they can be extremely deceiving. Been snookered more than once by "reputable" providers on that front, so I tend to be skeptical whenever I see someone that appears to be very tantalizing. Its hard to rely on anything in this business, I can see where these guys are coming from. I've come to the point where I just have to take a chance and hope for the best. That's what I like about dancers, its never an issue, they're rite in your face, of course the service may be limited, but it can be very stimulating anyway. I still am amazed that johns claimed to have been snookered by "reputable providers'" pics on cerb. from what I know, that is not tolerated on this site if these SPs are deceiving you, they are not reputable. and if your debate is worthy enough, you would have brought it up with CK or mod by now about false pictures etc.....but many will argue that it is not the "tantalizing" pictures you should be gauging your price or involvement on....but your research on the girl, her recos and her abilities. yes some ladies have the unfortunate insecurity on here to post fake pics. however most that do are generally called out, so to question a gal as to the reality of her pics can often come across as an insult.....and don't be surprised if you dont receive a response.....or more pics, lol as for the dancers being the solution to this problem.....dont get me wrong, I appreciate many and all dancers, but to expect extra millage after an "approved" dance from all of them is pretty shovanistic. yes, you like what you see....doesn't mean she thinks you're worthy enough to get it :-)

bylogger 136 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 I admit that I have difficulty recognising people from their pictures. I do not mean doctored pictures. I mean, show me a picture of a friend in a suit, smiling, and a picture of her in a swimsuit with a stern look. Then when I see her in real life, and I sometimes have difficulty recognising the three as being the same.

I for one have noted under the pics that have tattoos removed saying something to the like of "some tattoos edited out for privacy reasons", so unless I'm covered from head to toe in them, no one should be taken back

That's what I like about dancers, its never an issue, they're rite in your face, of course the service may be limited, but it can be very stimulating anyway. To be fair though you also have to realize that the purpose of any posed photograph is to make a person look their very best. When you meet the escort you're going to be with a real person with all the imperfections and quirks that make us individuals. You're not going to be having an encounter with the image you saw online. To me as long as the photos of the girl are really her body, and not photoshopped then I think that meets the definition of authentic. I also take it for granted that the poses are designed to show her at her best and that the view a certain times during the actual encounter may not be quite the same as online. So what, I rarely look exactly like the picture I had taken for my business head shot, if I recall correctly the photographer was quite fussy about posture, lighting, clothing etc, and furthermore (luckliy for me) my business doesen't depend on looks. Nuff said:smile:
Andee 220524 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Thanks everyone for the feedback. I guess I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would want to post fake pictures. If you don't think someone will accept you the way you are, then what are you doing advertising yours services. Finally, I don't show my face for privacy reasons because I still occasionally do office work, but I think most gentlemen understand this. I agree with Annessa, if you don't "get it" after looking at a few pics, move on. Thank goodness for CERB.

GHT 798 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Asking if Pics are real is a wasted question. Anyone who knowingly posted a fake picture will undoubtedly lie and say the pics are real. I use pics as a rough guide on what to expect. I make my choices based my perceived view of the ladies personality (based on her posts if any) and any published recommendations (emphasis on a fun experience). Every time a meet a new lady, I'm completely surprised, usually in a good way. If anything I find that the ladies are usually even more beautiful up close and in person than the pictures would indicate. I've also learned to throw out any pre-conceived ideas on what kind of body type I like/dislike. I proved myself wrong too many times. There is something to appreciate in all the ladies. Just take the plunge, so far its always worked out for me. GHT

mod 135639 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 I think it is mildly racist to assume because one Asian agency posting fake pics on CL means all Asians post fake pics. Unfortunately (at least in Canada) the majority of bait and switch ads are Asian ladies. Toronto and Vancouver especially are plagued with bait and switch Asian ads and a large number in Ottawa over recent years have also come around. I feel very bad for the legit Asian sp's (Indies and agencies) plus all the guys who have been bait and switched. You can't blame them for asking as it is SOOO common. Sure it happens with all races but it is WAY TOO COMMON with the Asian advertisers (So much that it has become a race specific issue). Using the term racist is a little harsh as the guys who are asking if the photos are legit are guys who very much love Asian ladies (and have probably just been bait and switched a number of times already in the quest to find the lady they are attracted to). The Asian ladies and agencies who post real photos have voiced concerns as well as it makes their business suffer too and they are constantly defending their integrity because of this - as Annessa2009 has pointed out. I can't blame her for being mad when someone asks this as I am sure she gets it WAY more then other non-asian SP's but I would suggest not to take it personally and just say "yes, those are my real photos" and understand that other people in this business who post fake photos are the reason for this question and the guy asking you is actually interested in you specifically and does not want to change another bait and switch with disappointment. Please keep in mind that the guys who are asking if the photos of the Asian lady are real are guys why really like Asian ladies and have probably been burnt a number of times before with the ole bait and switch. The only way this is going to stop is if people stop supporting the bait and switch agencies. If the lady is NOT the lady in the photo you must LEAVE!!! mod 135639 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 Annessa, what are you referring to when you mention "SP-Hatred blogs"? I have not heard of this before. Please don't go looking for these and please NEVER ask for or PASS OUT links to these blogs. Bad people exist in this world as we all know, some take joy in making anonymous hate blogs about others. Some specifically target SP's (Full of lies and hatred trying to make the lady scared or mad) - it's some sort of sick game with them where they hide cowardly behind a blog and try to hurt the ladies reputations. The worst one is a pimp in Ottawa who specifically has a blog where he tries to out the competition (trying to force them out of business by posting personal information, photos, Calling landlords, sending threats, etc...etc.. ). He has threatened the ladies and I am sure a few ladies have quit because of him. The blog sites let the bloggers see how many people visit the sites so please do not visit these sites!! That ads fuel to their fire as they get off on knowing people read their hate propaganda and each visit encourages them to write more and push the limits a little further each time. However due to blocked facial features and as Annessa says poses that accentuate a girls figure I'm sure I could have passed her on the street or she could have been in the elevator with me on the way up to her room and I would not have recognized her. I don't mind that she was 100% as advertized and I had a wonderfull time. I may be a little bit to sensitive here but I hate the use of the word "Johns"
mod 135639 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 I still am amazed that johns claimed to have been snookered by "reputable providers'" pics on cerb. from what I know, that is not tolerated on this site Some of the ladies photos are shot well (lots of makeup and lighting) so much so that even the REAL Photo does not look like the lady in person. Some are shot so poorly as well that the detail is left out (like white washed faces or body lines) also ... some ladies (this does not happen a lot these days) but some do have some photoshop work done - this can usually be spotted with a good eye. A photographer in Toronto (won't say his name) does some amazing work with light but a common complaint is that the photos look nothing like the girls in person a lot of the time). Sometimes the photos are from the 80's! Seriously, you can tell by the film grain and hair styles... sure they are REAL photos but she does not look the same now. I have even got some that I swear were from the 70's! We ask that the photos be real and recent and represent you honestly. If you put on makeup and do your hair in the photos and don't put forth the effort for the call the guy could very well think the photo is fake in many circumstances. If someone thinks the photos for any CERB provider are fake than that person should PM me (not post on the site) and if they "Call out" a girl on the site for this I will most certainly infract them and possibly suspend them for this. Now, if a lady is recommended here by someone with low post count and reputation and the photos are found to be fake we know the original recommendation is a shill - some guys expect all the posts and recommendations here to be 100% accurate (you guys who think this are dreaming as no review, recommendation or encounter for that matter is 100% the same - your expectations are way off). If you find a post (or recommendation) where lots of the senior members have backed up the claim I very much doubt the photos or info is not accurate but remember YMMV... always! I like to think of myself and other cerb members as friends to these lovely ladies whom I choose very carefully. True, donation which is for their time only is exchanged in an envelop, however, I sincerely hope that at least most of the ladies that I see and care so much about them also enjoy my company and regard me as a friend rather than a John:-(. And no I have never come across a single case that a lady advertising on cerb to have posted a fake picture. I doubt it that this would ever happen.

mod 135639 Report post Posted August 31, 2009 And no I have never come across a single case that a lady advertising on cerb to have posted a fake picture. I doubt it that this would ever happen. That is probably because I remove them a lot. With the help of Cowboy and many of our other senior members who report the BAD APPLES to me I try to stay on top of that and keep the unwanted bait and switchers away. Good thing is most stay away once caught. It does happen so always check the persons recommendations, make sure the poster is reliable and trust worthy (if not go with caution and consider it a TOFTT) if you ever do find a fake photo or some sort of scam that I have missed or not discovered on cerb yet please let me know right away. Again, it does happen... I do remove a number of them. So never expect anything on any of these sites to be 100% accurate. Just have faith in the posters with higher rep and post counts as they are 99% of the time posting with everyone's best interests in mind.

Before some of these boards allowing us to research and share our experiences, We only have the news paper and the street, we should stop whining and enjoy what we have. Give an inch, lose a mile! It's my experience that the more you give in to people, the more they want from you. This is why blogs work so well and online video games are judged so harshly by those playing them; give them what they ask for and soon it's not enough. Ladies have you ever stopped seeing a client, regular or new, because they continually push you to do things you just won't?
