Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 As some of you may know I have stopped hobbying on the escort side for personal reasons after a relatively short time (will NOT post on this boards either for a while at least). So, although the responses may not affect me personally, however, I am very curious to know (and I am sure many newbies and short length hobbyists are interested too) the responses to the following question. Any of you ladies and gentlemen with more than 5 years in the hobby has had any problems with STD or LE (the two risk factors usually associated with hobbying)? . I know I had none with either, but 2 years is not a big deal to act as a reliable statistics. Beside I had a no-BBBJ policy and was strictly an outcall-only guy which was legal. Thanks in advance. Guest C*****tte Report post Posted September 13, 2009 Speaking on behalf of French Kiss we have not had any LE issues in the over 8 years of experience of FKS or none that I know of for the founders who have worked for a number of years prior to that. We have had to seek out LE assistance on occasion for clients who became stalkers.

slurp 7020 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 Not one problem in almost 30 years ....... seen and done almost all. I had a small scare a few years ago, provider called me to say she had something minor. Went for testing and I was negative but took the treatment anyway as a precaution. Test regularly and so far so good. Negative and happy ......... Was gonna go see one of my fave MA on the day they were raided but my spidey sense served me well and I avoided that ..... just a few months ago. Whew! d*mm*y 887 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 Never any issues, I avoid places that have multiple providers simultaneously working out of them, ie massage parlors (unless it is a solo place) and ladies that share places with other providers (you know who you are with and what you are doing in the room you are in, but have no idea who is visiting or what they are doing in the same location in a different room). All the raids and arrests have been in places that are obvious common body houses with multiple providers. Or of course street sweeps I think it goes without saying avoid the streets. As for STD/STI have we not beat this one to death?? Anyone one that has not been brought up to speed on this here are a few older posts. http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=5225 http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3081 http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=329 Most recently this one; http://cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=16333 I am sure there are more these are just the ones that spring to mind. Perhaps we can make a sticky with links to the various health resources available for these questions? This does seem to be something on a lot of peoples minds. Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 As for STD/STI have we not beat this one to death?? . I do remember a couple of attached links, however I am really surprised with all the literature on how widespread STDs are and how easily they are communicable, that we have shown in previous links almost no cases of STD transmission on the board (a very nice surprised I may add). So, I thought I pose this question again this time to long time SPs and hobbyists only, coupled with an equally important issue of LE, as I said the two main risk factors associated with hobbying. And so far (in just few hours since posted) I am very happy with the number of responses from ladies and gentlemen members and grateful too. Many thanks for taking the time and sharing your experiences on the subjects.
Guest S***e Report post Posted September 13, 2009 Even after forty plus years, "no" to both questions. My answer comes not from being lucky either; it comes from using common-sense, good judgment, discretion, proper protection and good hygeine. Most importantly, I think with my head, rely on my intuition and not think with my dick in order to mitigate the risks mentioned.
cat 262460 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 In Canada, I have never had issue with LE but in the US, a very different story. So for those traveling south of the border, please do your research! As for STD's and STI's, I have never had one. Like Emma; I am tested regularly. I do believe that the statistics account for the general public who are not as fastidious with health issues. An evening out with a little too much wine and one's judgment becomes cloudy and mistakes are made. I have never believed that SPs pose the greatest health concern. We are more aware because it's our job to be. Most of us can identify by name visual dangers and I am vigilant at inspection as a precaution with all guests. I believe there is risk in every situation which warrants awareness. But we all take risks every day from contracting Staph by showering at the gym to getting hit by a truck crossing the street. We simply weigh the risk and take as many precautions as possible otherwise we would never get out of bed. Life is to be experienced every moment of every day because that is all we are ever guaranteed to have. Cat
Guest Ou**or**n Report post Posted September 14, 2009 Very insightful response Cat - it is great to see you sharing your in-depth experience with us again. Early on in this business I had personal concerns about seeing ladies that offered incalls. Then one day I was visiting a certain lady and asked she had been doing. She said she was doing great that day but the day before was stressful because she had LE there at her location. Inside my heart stopped but she went on to explain that she had one client that gotten too obsessed and became a bit of a stalker and the situation eventually escalated to the point where she contacted LE when he was over the previous evening and began making a scene. She must of seen my various reactions because she then looked at me and laughed and said not too worry because they knew what she did for a living and were more interested in seeing that she was safe. God bless Canada. The US of course sees this topic very differently. I also agree completely about Cat's statements about risk. I enjoy both giving DATY and receiving BBBJ despite discussions and beliefs that these activities carry risks. From my own personal research I felt that the odds of getting anything were very low to the point that in my mind the drive to meet the lady was the greatest risk of the night. I also love downhill skiing which to me is a much riskier sport. Many people are killed each year and countless others are hurt. I wear a helmet to intelligently manage the risk but it can never be eliminated. Life is always about finding your own personal balance between risk and enjoyment. And in answer to the question from the OP, in five years (so short compared to some of the vets around here) I've never had any issues with LE or STD's. I haven't even had a 'call'. VedaSloan 119179 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 I've never had an STD. I get tested every two months and as Cat stated, SP's are entirely more vigilant about protection than the majority of the population (I am thinking of my first couple of years in university, and the drunken weekends at the club, bringing home guys and boning them without much respect to safety--I sincerely doubt much has changed with the current batch of frosh). Whatshisname 100 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 I am no expert. and let me say that if anyone who knew me knew what i was up to - they would die of shock. that said ... I have a friend who works in LE. I was telling her (in this case) about a recent "cool" LE experience I had had with a very on the level officer who essentially restored some of my faith in LE - this guy was an amazing cop - and I say that with all due respect. We got to talking about LE and her job, experiences etc. I asked her about MPs, and I asked her about online pages that SPs have etc. This is what she told me - you can draw your own conclusions. 1. Similar to an earlier post - a parlor, with a lot of girls working out of it, if they get complaints etc. they are more or less obligated to go in there. Which is why they (the MPs) are often on the 2nd floor etc. Gives ppl time to get dressed or whatever - I don't do and have not done MPs. 2. Re SPs and the web. She said (paraphrasing) that really they didn't care. That that was better, or at least preferred. She hinted that its private, off the streets, and unoffensive. Similar to what two SPs have said - she added that in many cases they are aware who is doing what, and they are more concerned about safety, violence etc. Just my two cents. Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted September 14, 2009 Very encouraging posts by long time SPs and hobbyists so far, that a number of members with as much as 20 to 40 years of hobbying have never had any significant problems with either of the risk factors associated with hobbying (STD and LE). So, I am still scratching my head about all the literature about STDs and how easily they can be transmitted (particularly genital warts and herpes which according to literature can be transmitted as easy as skin to skin contact), then how come we don't have a single case of this on our board:confused: (not that I am complaining just confused). As I said, very encouraging but almost too good to be true. Is that because only those who never had a problem with either STD or LE are posting or we are all lucky bunch of people or the risks of STD transmission is overstated in the literature?. Equally good to hear that those doing incalls for long time have had no issues with the LE but this one didn't come as a total surprise to me. I do realize it now that may be, it would have been a better idea to have started this thread in the form of an anonymous poll rather, but can't go back in time. Guest f***nds4f** Report post Posted September 15, 2009 For LE, I never have problem. Possible I was not very active and LE only target street action. If you don't draw public attention, you would be fine. For STD, I don't think we are luck and don't have single case of infection. I question the accuracy of our poll - low sample rate. I believe the people got infected never participate the poll. They don't want to expose themselves. I have a female friend (not SP) got genital herpes 1 by receiving oral. Chance is not that rare. Somebody say our life is full of risk, you could hit by a truck or something even worse. You could not not directly compare this kind of risks to STD. If you hit by a truck, lots of people and friends will show sympathy. If you got STD or HIV, they treat you different, you need to face much serious pressure and consequence. Of course, everyone can decide what level of risk you could take. Play safe! My 2 cents
