sasquatch 7413 Report post Posted July 19, 2013 I saw this on CL. http://sexsafetysecurity.ca/ Thoughts? "We are seeking to provide a forum for people who pay for sex or sexual services, sex workers and their intimate partners, people who own and operate commercial sex venues, and the individuals and organizations that regulate the industry."
fortunateone 156618 Report post Posted July 19, 2013 I've heard about it before, and would encourage participation. It is similar in scope to the johnsvoice project and done by the same researchers. http://www.johnsvoice.ca i think the difference is that sps have a place to participate on the new study. Sweet Emily J 172062 Report post Posted July 19, 2013 This group is a member on CERB, and has posted here several times, inviting members to participate in their comprehensive, non-judgemental study. I definitely encourage the good gentlemen of CERB to take part and have your say. This can definitely be an influence as Canada decides what direction it wants to go moving forward, in respect to prostitution. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=124755 From their statements: "We believe that the generalizations that groups seeking the abolition of prostitution make about the attitudes, beliefs and behaviours of ALL people who pay for sexual services in Canada are based on moral convictions and speculation as opposed to actual evidence. In our ongoing effort to present a more complete and accurate picture of the diversity of attitudes, beliefs and experiences of people who have paid for sexual services in Canada we are inviting you to be a part of the largest and most ambitious study of Canada's sex industry undertaken to date." Guest S****r Report post Posted July 20, 2013 Just remember that in the case of luka Roco the crown is seeking to use his responses in a similar sex survey as evidence in his trial. If so, it will set a precedent.
