I loooooooooooooove school, AND we have cold weather here so everyone is particularly frisky. I need some more help (not psychologically)!! I had previously inquired about Winnipeg rates for my friend and now she's having trouble finding a studio. Are there studios in Winnipeg? Or is it more of an escort town? Do you guys have any advice on how she can get started? I told her she should just move here! But she loves Winnipeg so far and is looking forward to meeting some guys... Setting up as a new Indy takes a bit of an initial investment (advertising, incall location, etc.) and as we all know it takes a while to get established. Especailly here where there are alot of established gems and guys are not as apt to TOFTT. Also all the LE action lately makes one stay with their regulars and not take chances. She can build up a clientle from there before going out on her own. It's generally a lot of the same fella's that visit MP's as well as the Indy's. EC is the best place to advertise. Most of the Indy's business comes from there. Especially here in the Peg. I'd say Nevada's would be the best place to start out at. Broadways is a dump. ^^livenudecats^^ said it best. Guys are telling her to give them discounts in exchange for good review and regular visits. Guys are telling her that regular clients pay far less than new clients. Guys are telling her that she should have different prices to accommodate different clients' budgets. And it all makes me so sad. She's just a girl trying to pay for her schooling and I recommended cerb as a way to meet nice people. I'm so sad that she's being accosted by deceitful clients who promise her the moon in exchange for a sixty dollar discount. Everyone pays the same and that's how it goes. Please respect her as an SP, a woman, and a human being. If you want to pay less, go get a girl off the street. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. I can't judge her services because I've never had a session with her! But she at least deserves a chance to start her business properly without someone telling her she's only worth $100 per session. I always think cerb is the best possible starting point for any girl but she's really getting bullied into or blackmailed into lower prices. My girl is hot, safe, clean, and awesome and fun. Give her a chance. This doesn't apply to most of you good people. I'm a little defensive too because of my own recent troubles with discount-searchers, which I've talked about in the Atlantic section. Sometimes this industry is not kind to girls and here's the proof. To those guys who are trying to lie your way into a discounted session, shame on you. It was NEVER intended to be in exchange for favorable reviews (that's just wrong) but a way to encourage some members to sample her services. Hopefully she would get some favorable reviews from those visits and that would be a good way to get her name out there. Kind of like a Grand Opening Special for CERBies. Then she could set her rates where other SP's in Winnipeg are and embark on a long a fruitful carreer. I apologise for any disrespect my suggestion may have implied. This is the number one tactic guys use to get a discount and then you never see them again. Also, blackmailing a girl with reviews. And then someone suggested girls have favourite clients that they give 50% off to. It's such bullshit! A couple of guys have told her that they're so good at sex that she'll want to do it for free. One guy told her he was poor, but that he was such a good regular client to his last SP that he ended up paying her 12 000 dollars annually. Yet he's poor? For what its worth she should start around $200 to $220/hr which seems to be the lower end of the going rate for the better girls in town. If she is a good SP she'll do just fine. Amelia, please encourage Auralie to stand her ground. She's very lucky to have you as a friend and to guide her through the "starting off" process. I started SPing on my own, with no support, and it's not easy at all. Some guys prey on new girls, and they think that because a girl is new to the business, she'll do just about anything. You'd be disgusted by the things that guys thought I would do when I started out. They truly believed that I was naive enough to say yes to their "requests" (more like demands). Thankfully, I stuck to my guns and never did anything that I was not comfortable with.
