Thoughts on ad spamming?

When I go on BP and see a girl continuously post her ad multiple times all day, it really doesn't make me want to see her at all. It comes off as really desperate. It also doesn't make a difference if you change the title or text.

 

Basically it's a huge turn off for me.

Well, I kind of used to think that, but then I also thought of the many people who log on at different times of the day. Maybe some are not good computer users like you and I for example, therefore, many need to see ads here and there. My take anyway.

When it's the same person with different names, ages, and headers like "new" (just how long can you be new...), it really does not entice one to scheduled an appointment. It certainly makes me appreciative of a place like this.

Cerb has a 1 post every 12 hours per city limit. This cuts down on the spam considerably.

 

Outside Cerb it tends to be a free for all. A common complain is needing to multi-post a day to avoid having their ads buried.

Exactly. Makes me appreciate Cerb and EC much more.

People are creatures of habit and the first ad is going to be the one that is checked out the most, simple fact, so for some, multiple postings gives them a better opportunity of being picked, I suspect. It works that way in other types of advertising so I'm sure it works the same with escort ads. :) It would also only be productive for the girls that are on call often I would think. Different strokes for different folks. I say do what ever works for you, within the boundaries of fairness.
