Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of mirrors either. While it is great to be able to maintain eye contact in certain positions I find them a little distracting. There's sort of an "oh god, that's what I look like fucking?" aspect that throws me a little.

Yes, I love watching others having sex in person more so than a porn video. Mirrors are awesome and add something for sure. I had my first experience with lots of mirrors with my first SP.

I really like the idea of having sex with another couple/couples present, but I don't think I'd be into watching porn at the same time because I think it would try to draw some of my attention away. When the other people are in the same room the attention would be drawn away but it goes both-way, so everyone would be enjoying their partners as well as everyone else in the room and that would be super hot.

Yes to occasionally watching porn to a prelude to getting laid. And yes, sometimes it makes a great sound track.

 

As others have noted, having others present and engaged in their own games is a huge turn on, too.

 

I had a mistress years back who would make a point of setting up one or both of those scenarios for us because she loved it so much. And of course, sometimes the couple became small groups but I digress...

I LOVE mirrors! You don't need to have porn on when surrounded by mirrors! You can get all the good angles for your own show!

 

I've had porn on in the background and I don't find it has a huge effect. I usually end up forgetting its there while focusing on my partner.
