katie 1337 Report post Posted September 24, 2013 I can understand why some gents use a blocked number or private number! It's sometimes their way of discretion!
uncutmoncton 160 Report post Posted October 8, 2013 Yes, i find it hard when email is not offered as an option for contact as well, can be hard to be limited in terms of discretion
Meaghan McLeod 179664 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 I can understand the first time contacting an unknown sp, blocking your number. However, if you block your number, and she clearly states "no blocked or private numbers", she will most likely not answer. If she is a reputable provider, there should be no reason why you would want to block your number. Remember, discretion goes both ways. Follow her booking instructions. If she asks you to email her, do that. If she says text her, do not call her, text her. If she wants a pm first, do that. When you call from a blocked number, you are starting the conversation on an unequal playing field. I always recommend getting a play phone - if you are concerned.
Eva Laperle 7898 Report post Posted October 9, 2013 Well written meaghan, I agree with you. Personnally, I do not answer block numbers especially when traveling. I understand the need for discretion for some gentlemen. However, us provider must ensure our safety as well. I find it fishy when someone calls me private... From my experience, they tend to book and not show up or simply waist my time with prank calls. These days, most reputable indys request an unblock phone number for booking to ensure their safety if anything happens and I think it's a good thing. Us ladies must be careful with who we meet... cuz we never know who we are dealing with... If the gentleman is serious and really wants to meet you, he shouldn't have a problem following your booking instructions. xoxo
