daddio 2704 Report post Posted June 14, 2014 Absolutely; Joni Mitchell in particular, invented so many open tunings for her unforgettable songs. She's not "flash" just plain magic. Driving to Montreal June of 2011 I heard her interviewed by Gian Gomeshi. She's not only a brilliant musician but has great insight into how the world works.
