For those who understand french, lapresse.ca published a series of video reports, news stories, rather, on the industry in Montreal. La Presse, Montreal's main french newspaper, had a series in their hardcopy about four years ago, but on slightly different topics.

 

Montreal always was - and still is - a hub in North America as a "Ville Libertine", an open city. Yet, as open as it is, there are still pressures to limit the development of the industry.

Last one that i missed earlier with the video-reports i posted "Sex, alcohol and Swinging for all" ..... Not a Swing Club (where one would have to be a member to enter), this is on a Swing Bar, where you'd have just to agree to the rules. Regulating bodies allocating Bar licences are aware of the activities on site. Exchange of money for sex is disallowed according to the owner.
