The men, aged 42 and 28, allegedly targeted young women and coerced them into working as escorts. Police said between August and October 2013, the two men arranged for customers to attend local hotel rooms where sexual acts were performed by the recruited females, in exchange for an agreed upon amount of money. On one occasion, one of the men assaulted one of the women, hitting her and causing non-life threatening injuries, police said. The prostitution operation was run from a series of hotel rooms between August and October 2013, police said. The men were arrested Oct. 1. The 42-year-old has been charged with living off the avails of prostitution, keeping a common bawdy house, assault with a weapon and three counts of breach of probation. The 28-year-old has been charged with living off the avails of prostitution, keeping a common bawdy house and two counts of breach of probation.
