For the purposes of this discussion, let's forget about anything else they may do or even what they look like! This should be an all-inclusive nuru massage list! :) Recently I have become wildly curious about nuru massage and am looking to weigh all the options before taking my first plunge. At the moment I am dying to try it and see if it's worth the price premium! I'm betting it is. Just looking at the PG-13 rated videos on Youtube for "nuru massage" makes it look extremely enticing, so you can only imagine what a Rated-R (and beyond) version of a nuru massage might be like behind closed doors! I had it with Jessica massage. it was awesome :) Just today I asked a massage provider who is not on my list if she offers nuru. She doesn't, but gave a strong recommendation for Jessica. Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 A most excellent thread! On the financial angle: yes, you may be looking at a little more for nuru (not with everyone, but sometimes). Not only is there the cost of the gel, but there's preparation beforehand, and it makes a hell of a mess - which is a lot of fun, but someone has to clean up afterwards, and it probably isn't the client :) But it's totally worth it. +1 on Jessica. She's been offering nuru for longer than anyone else in Ottawa (that I know of), and a nuru massage with her is fantastic. Also: I know this thread's in the MA forum, but Nathalie and Georgiana are SPs, should you want your gloopy sexytime to go a little further. And should you be hankering after a double dose of gloopy sexytime, Nathalie does duos with Georgiana and Megan. herelookin 3510 Report post Posted October 12, 2013 I have been a HUGE fan of nuru for many years now and I would have to side with Gina (Urban Vibe) (Number 1) and Jessica (Indy) (Number 2) as my "all-time" favourites. Although, Alexandria is new at this I have enjoyed sessions with her. Forgive my ignorance since I am new to the subject, but from what I've read and heard so far, I thought the nuru gel was supposed to be heated up during the preparation period prior to play...? Can everyone please weigh in on the preparation/temperature of the gel? Personally I would prefer to visit someone who used warmed-up gel as per the expectations I have in mind based on the research I've gathered up to this point. I've never really noticed a difference in the temperature, seems that room temperature is adequate. There isn't any "special" preparation that I know of other than adding water. HOWEVER, sometimes cooler is nice on the body (IMHO)... it's like when a MA's hands are a bit cold at the start, there's something refreshing (and hot) about that. LOL And as Chantal says... Although it may be a little cool at first, I promise to warm you up delightfully ;)... I'd agree that a nuru massage does get very hot quickly!!!
