Luckyme 41401 Report post Posted October 28, 2013 Recently, I installed a new Kaspersky Anti-Virus program in my desktop pc ( I had another program I used before for a long time). Since the new installation, whenever I access the Ottawa ADVERTISING for FS ESCORT / COURTESAN Providers - Schedules & Announcements page, a small warning screen appears advising me of " Phishing link blocked". I am wondering if this has happened to anyone? Mod agrees that I could pose this question here.
kramepson 203 Report post Posted October 28, 2013 There might be a way for you to add the site to a "white list" or trusted list in the software
TheRubicon 166 Report post Posted October 28, 2013 Likely something as simple as normal login cookie placement plus the subject matter of the website. Kaspersky has a large database of websites which they group and test on to provide generalized protection. CERB because of the content likely falls into a general category which associates the cookie/sex combo to likely phishing attempts, which is usually the case when averaged out over the entirety of the internet. Just a hunch though:D
Luckyme 41401 Report post Posted October 29, 2013 Thank you both for your replies. I should add that accessing cerb does not give me that message. I get this message only when accessing the Ottawa Advertising page and only the pages containing one particular advertiser's ad. Note also that the particular advertisers' avatar and the girls' pictures are blocked with a cross in the middle of the little squares.
qwertyaccount 15793 Report post Posted October 29, 2013 Try right-clicking on one of the blocked pictures and pick "properties" from the pop-up menu. You should be able to see who's it is next to "Address (URL)"; if you can, let the mod know as the advertiser is sure to want to fix any issue.

I did find out the URL of the website and had also contacted the mod and the advertiser. The mod suggested that this was most likely an issue with the advertiser's website. The latter said they did a website virus scan and found nothing. So, it seems like I am the only one that have this issue and it is only after I've installed the new Kaspersky Anti-Virus of PCs software.
