Meaghan McLeod 179664 Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Well, my computer isn't really stupid, but its doing stupid things right now. Every time I hit return, it brings up my "power settings". Asking me to change from balanced etc. Just downloaded some stupid site, that changed my homepage settings. I changed that, but can't seem to get my return to work now. Brad 49548 Report post Posted October 31, 2013 Found this as a suggested fix: Sticky keys might be turned on. Hit Windows Key (the flag symbol) + X This opens the mobility center - close it and your enter key function should be restored. If that doesn't do it you might want to try plugging in a separate keyboard and seeing if the problem continues. That would at least let you know if the issue is with the keyboard or the system.
