SexxxyRebecca 57989 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Is it possible that (or I am just crazy) that the time on cerb doesnt match with the real (sorry dont know how to explain it) Example: I reply to a PM at 3h25 but I see in my mailbox message sent at 3h10.. Anyone else notice?
Cleo Catra 178382 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 Mine is always 10 minutes behind. The current time is 4:12pm, but once I hit reply, it'll likely show up as 4:02. It's always been like that for me

roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I've wondered the same thing Maybe the time goes by when you start writing your post Example, you start writing your post at 4pm but by the time you finish writing and sending it's 4:15pm, yet it shows on CERB as posted at 4pm Just a thought RG
Guest realnicehat Report post Posted November 12, 2013 No, there's a definite 10-12 minute time difference. I've noticed it too. It's been that way quite a while. For example I posted this at 4:48pm my time.
Guest S*rca****sid Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I believe there is a previous thread about this. I had a quick search but couldn't find it. If I remember correctly, Mod explained the reason behind the shift in time. If I ever find it, I'll amend my post.
qwertyaccount 15793 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 Probably just clock drift and the NTP (atomic) time server that the webserver is configured to use is near impossible to reach (like time-a.nist.gov), so the time hasn't been corrected in a while. This time of year because of daylight savings time some NTP servers can be extra hard to reach. On the other hand, realnicehat has an excellent theory. I can't remember, do we take the red or blue pill?
Luckyme 41401 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 I first noticed that recently when I waited deliberately past midnight to send someone a BD wish. But, when the message appeared on her profile page, it still showed the time of the day ( actually night) before. No big deal, but she probably thought I should be spanked for getting her big day wrong ! :spank: (not that I'd mind!) lol.
Brad 49548 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 I definitely find when I'm on Cerb time works oddly. I logged on for just a couple minutes but somehow an hour has passed by!
