One thing I love about this community is the sharing that's here for both sensual/sexual things and real life thoughts and experiences. We all talk about what we have for supper but no one ever posts the recipes so I thought, why not post those great recipes that you love that others might love and see what extra delicious pleasure we can add to life. I'll start with something new I recently found but yummy!

 

Baked Gnocchi with Bacon, Tomato and Mozzarella

 

Ingredients

 

  • 500g store-bought gnocchi
  • 250g bacon, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • handful cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons cream/yoghurt
  • large handful fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 100g mozzarella, sliced

Instructions

 

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°c.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
  3. In the meantime, make the sauce.
  4. In a large, hot frying pan, fry the bacon until starting to crisp with most of the fat rendered.
  5. Pour off most of the fat then add the garlic and smoked paprika and fry for 30 seconds.
  6. Add all of the tomatoes and the sugar and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cream/yoghurt, parsley and seasoning.
  8. Cook the gnocchi in the salted water until it starts floating to the top. Remove with a slotted spoon and add to the sauce.
  9. Transfer the gnocchi and sauce to an oven-proof dish and top with the sliced mozzarella.
  10. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes until the mozzarella is melted and golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

I make it with salmon instead of tuna and basmati rice to go with it.

 

One change to make to the recipe though: it calls for 6 Tbs of soya sauce. I think it was a typo, it should be 3.

 

Every time I make this my neighbours think I'm having an orgy ;-)

1 tsp Brown sugar, packed light 1 Nutmeg, ground 1/4 tsp Pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp Vanilla extract 1 Whipped cream 1 tsp White sugar, granulated

Drinks

 

1 cup Coffee, hot strong Dairy

 

2 tbsp Half & half cream 1/2 cup Whole milk

As winter is starting to set in sooner than we know. It's always wonderful to enjoy the classic guilty pleasure of frosted chocolate brownies ;). Here's how to make them with finesse:

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • For the Brownies:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • For the Frosting:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3-5 tablespoon milk or cream

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8-inch-square baking dish with foil, letting the excess hang over the edges (this helps to make "handles" for lifting out the brownies after they have cooled). Lightly grease the foil; set aside.
  2. In a medium-size microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate and butter for the brownies. Microwave for 1-minute increments at 50% power, stirring in between, until the chocolate and butter are melted and smooth. Whisk in the granulated and brown sugars. Whisk in the eggs and the vanilla extract. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture with a rubber spatula until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a thin knife or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
  4. For the frosting, using an electric mixer (handheld or stand mixer), cream together the butter, cocoa powder, and salt on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the powdered sugar. Mix on low speed to incorporate the sugar. Add the vanilla and milk, starting with a couple tablespoons and adding more as needed to adjust the consistency. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high, beating until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Spread the frosting onto the cooled brownies. Store the brownies in an airtight container, or tightly wrapped, at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Here are a couple easy recipes to throw together with unexpected company drops by. It's also about balls...which I like! *rawr*

 

Ham Ball

 

1 can Flakes of Ham

1 pkg Philadelphia Cream Cheese

Mix together.

 

Add 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese (or more depending on taste)

Add ½ cup green onion (or use as garnish)

Mix all together, shape into a ball. Spread on your favorite cracker!

Oreo Balls

 

1 package Oreo Cookies

1 block cream cheese, softened

1 pack Cooking Chocolate (Hershey's Semi sweet chocolate chips the best)

 

Place Oreo Cookies in a bag/blender and smash/blend until it is the consistency of dirt. Mix the softened cream cheese into the smashed oreos. Roll the mixture into balls.Melt chocolate in the microwave.Cover balls in chocolate then leave to set in the fridge

Ingredients - increase with each additional portion

 

1. 1/2 tsp of liquid smoke (more as the wings get bigger)

2. 1/2 tsp of celery salt

3. 1/2 tsp of seasoning salt or your favorite dry rub.

4. 1/3 tsp of garlic powder or garlic salt

5. 2-3 tbsp of olive oil

 

Directions

Allow 10-15 wings per serving

 

1- add liquid smoke to wings and toss for even coating.

 

2-Combine wings and dry ingredients and toss until evenly coated -Add olive oil and toss until evenly coated -let marinade in fridge for 3 hrs minimum, 6+ is better. -place on an elevated cooking rack ( 5" above the cookie sheet) at 375F for 30 minutes, then 275 for 30 mins, skin side up. - Cooking times may vary for your oven,

 

My comments

You can also prepare the wings as above and freeze in a zip-lock bag.

Ingredients

 

  • 4 boneless strip steaks (3 pounds total, 1-inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups dry red wine
  • 1 cup canned condensed beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dark-brown sugar

Directions:

 

Season steaks with salt. Press pepper on surfaces.

 

Heat oil in large heavy skillet over high heat. Add steaks. Lower heat to medium; cook, turning once, 4 minutes per side for rare, 6 minutes per side for medium-rare, and 8 minutes per side for well-done.

 

Remove to warm platter; keep warm.

 

Add onion to skillet; cook until browned, stirring, 2 minutes.

 

Add half the rosemary, half the garlic and cook, stirring, 20 seconds. Add wine.

 

Increase heat to high; boil vigorously 2 minutes.

 

Add broth, sugar and meat juices that have collected on platter.

 

Boil 10 minutes more or until liquid is reduced by half, about 1 cup.

 

Add remaining rosemary and garlic. Pour over steaks and serve.

Quick and simple Tenderloin Jack

 

Marinade 3 pounds of beef tenderloin in 1 cup Jack Daniels for 12 hours

Coat beef in Montreal Steak Spice and sear evenly in extra virgin olive oil

Place tenderloin in high side baking dish

Surround with whole mushrooms and onion slices

Pour the Jack Daniel marinade evenly over the mushrooms and onions

Cook at 350 to desired doneness

Let meat rest for 10 min before slicing

4 (6 ounce) tilapia

10 ounces macadamia nuts

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon hot sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon black pepper

 

 

Preheat your oven's broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil

 

Combine macadamia nuts, soy sauce, garlic, hot sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, and black pepper in a food processor; blend until the mixture is the consistency of paste.

 

Spoon a thick layer of the macadamia mixture on top of each tilapia fillet. Place the fish macadamia mixture-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Under the broiler, cook fish until the macadamia crust is golden brown and the tilapia flakes easily, about 15 minutes.
