how to delete a thread

So i started one other thread I would now like to delete and I can't find an edit or delete button could someone please help me out?

You have 24 hours I believe to edit or delete a post. After that it is here to stay

Delete a post really is a wrong choice of words you can edit and delete what you have written

But you should at least write that you deleted what you posted

Keep in mind if you chose to edit your post but your post is quoted the quote remains

Depending on the content of the thread you may be able to get mod to delete it but I think you need a pretty good reason. If it is simply a question you regret asking then it is probably here to stay but if it is more serious (ie you let slip some personal details which might be used to identify you) he might at the very least edit it if he won't remove it.

 

If it's something you feel strongly about just PM him but I wouldn't waste his time if it's not a big deal.

Thank you all, it wasn't for regret. I mentioned someone who pm'd me asking if I could remove their name. Of course I said I would but was unable to and wanted to make sure I made every effort. I now realize I can't and will honour their request in the future.
