I happened to be in the area, decided to catch a drink, I'm glad that I did. I ended up meeting a lot of very friendly ladies, they were very laid back, not husselling for dances, was late afternoon. The ladies seemed to appreciate sharing a drink with an older guy.

Yes, the club is a little dark and not newly renovated. It is no Pigales, for sure. I used to like downstairs at the Chaudierre in my earlier days... To me, what makes the difference is the ladies, and, last night, it was great !

SD has a surprisingly high quality level of girls, and it's a very friendly atmosphere. (Too bad about the lousy bathroom though). Worth a visit if you're in the area IMO.

I was there last Thurs night and had a blast. Jazy was there, looking so fine, with that killer ass, that was sooooo worth the trip to experience.... and I got to spend some quality time with Jewel, my fav of favs for the last few years. I got many dances from her, and we sat at the table after, laughing and catching up. It was just a really great time. The bathroom is the sh*ts...but they have been making an attempt to spruce up the place a little. I have been stopping in off and on thru the years since I left college...and still enjoy the place. Sure, there are so many better places...but they feel so cold and less intimate. I'll keep going there.:butt:

I actually dont mind the dollar,

I mean its not the prettiest, or cleanist place

but unlike other clubs and I have worked at every one

in the ottawa gatineau and Montreal region.

I find here you can actually get to know the guys

you are spending time with and its easier to get to know someone

and able to get a closer relationship with you men!

I actually think when I dance this month at the end

of the month I will be going back there

instead of a big club, its not like its the

competition because I dont believe in that

I ujust love smaller clubs better!

I have no probs with the place. Sure it isn't all fancy BUT I have had more laughs with the girls there than any of the other HIGH end clubs.

 

Like any place, when you get to know a few of the girls, it starts feeling more comfortable. I never had the chance to go and see the wonder Jazy... but I am sure that will happen soon enough!

This is the only SC in Ottawa-Gatineau that I have been only once. I was there a few years ago after work (so I was all dressed up) and about half the people looking at me, a few in a weird manner. The service was okay and so were the dancers (I won a lottery for a free dance which I think the lady herself likely rigged the result - just a guess as she knew me from (used to be) Fanny's cabaret that I won't take free dance and will pay. Anyhow I didn't like the looks and left after couple of hours. I think it was 2004 or 2005 and never returned since.

No reliable review boards that I knew then, so I had to see the place to know/realize that (in my view) it was a dump. As I mentioned, never went back. I thought may be it may have changed since, but since I read some of the posts in this thread, it doesn't look like it has.

I dunno. I think it gets a bum rap...pardon the pun. They really are working on the place. And the bathroom, funny enough, looks frickin fancy now. Lol The dancers are hit or miss for the most part, except for Jewel, and Jazy when she's there...but that's any place you go.

 

I was at the Den on a Sunday a month ago, and it was soooo dead, granted it was a Sunday. Anyway I texted Jewel from the Dollar and jokingly said she should come over and show the 2 girls working how it's done. She actually agreed since I have treated her well when I have been to the Buck, so came over and really rocked that place. Guys were giving me dirty looks because she came for me and never left my side, except to do the stage show, until I had to leave...but she's a diehard Dollar girl. Go figure eh.

 

I guess it's a case of 'To each their own' like someone said previously. I like it there. Maybe I have lowered expectations or something. :butt:hehe

Any suggestions on where to go for good private dances/mileage? I know there are some posts on this topic but I know that clubs go through phases of different dancers and different levels of permitted mileage so I'm looking for some really current info.

 

don't know if its still true but Quebec side had much better mileage than Ottawa last time I went. IMO at 20 a song that works out to around 200 an hour so ......

Not quite 200 an hour, as songs don't last 6 minutes ... my count for an hour (songs lasting 2 to 3 minutes) would cost somewhere in between 400$ (3 minutes song) and 600$ an hour (2 minute songs). The club I go to offers flat rate for the half hour and hour. Note that this was always with the house dancers and not in private rooms (regular CR booths), which i've used once or twice.

 

As for mileage, even on the Quebec side, it depends on the dancer and time of day .... but it's coming to an end, believe me.

yep and here's the deal....you can get a high quality escort for 2-3 hours for those rates and not walk away with blue balls...and you'll get a lot better mileage and a bed to lie on rather than breaking your back in those chairs...just saying.
