PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted December 10, 2013 After retiring in May 2012, and 36 years as a CTV Ottawa news anchor, Leigh Chapple has passed away at the age of 58. Leigh was also a long time instructor at Algonquin College. Leigh and her husband both retired at same time from CTV, to spend more time together. An awful shame, the cause of her death is unknown at this time, but apparently she died peacefully. As an avid watcher of our local news, (CJOH local news) she will be missed by her colleagues.
