belladonna 279 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 I've decided to go on a trip this Christmas. I'm looking for a transsexual woman (from Montreal), who offers her services to other women also. I have always wanted the experience of knowing (in the archaic sense, of course ;-)) a transsexual. What are the best strip clubs in Montreal? I'm looking for an anarchic, pasties and a g-string, Tom Waits kind of dive. Me and my fellow Cerbite, whom I'm travelling with, are not fans of no-touch policies. Finally, where is the best place to get some vegetarian food in downtown Montreal? I truly appreciate any of your help and advice. If you could recommend any other exciting, sexy, dangerous, or reckless things to do, go ahead!

owly 141 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Le Commensal is a very good pay by weight veggie restaurant chain in Montreal. A little overprice but a lot of delicious fresh choices, like the Green Door in otawa but better.
Jazzitup 5652 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 I just wanted endorse Owly's recommendation of Le Commensal. Whenever I am in Montreal, it seems I always eat there at least once.
Guest BigBoy Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Hi, I'm not a real expert on Montreal but I did go to Cafe Cleopatra years ago and it had that burlesque feel you are craving. http://www.cleopatramontreal.com/ The area is under development and Cafe Cleopatra is holding out against the gentrification of the neighbourhood. The vegetarian place I remember is Le Comensal which (like the Green Door here in Ottawa) sells by weight. The atmosphere is a bit more posh than the Green Door. There is a long list of vegetarian restaurants. Another one I went to was Chu Chai - Thai Vegetarian. Also good. http://restomontreal.ca/restaurants/specialties/montreal-vegetarian-restaurants.php?start=0&num_pages=3&lang=en&d=&f=&map= I envy you your trip to Canada's fun city. Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Dear Bella: I am not into transsexuals at all, but I did a google search for you and it brought me up to these which may help: I got this one from merb (likely the best source) http://www.dream69.com/ And these ones I did google search. http://www.erostranssexuals.com/classifieds/montreal_shemale_escorts.htm http://montreal-escorts.escortplatinum.com/transsexuals.html And SCs http://www.montrealnitelifetours.com/sectors/article/montreal-gay-village/Strip%20Clubs/ Not sure if that is what you are looking for. One word of caution. I used to live in Montreal and it is dead quiet over Christmas holidays. For example Cloepatra (which by the way when I was there was a female only strip bar for straight males) is open 364 days a year but closed on Christmas day. There is a bar (where I went by mistake one night) call Metropolis where I noticed a large number of transsexuals or shemales (I really don't know the difference). Next time may be take a trip to Paris instead of Montreal with a cerbite. I lived there when I was a child but I hear that it is even a more open society than Montreal when it comes to these topics. belladonna 279 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Hi secret_admirer. That's what I meant by "female trans", a man who became a woman. Getting surgery everywhere but this penis. Thanks for the recommendations! I will look all this up today.
buggernot 588 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Sounds like a fun trip. Let us know if any of those vegetarian places serve veal ;)
Capital Hunter 18263 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 Hi bella, the beauty princess. Thanks for the info. Somehow I thought it means a woman who becomes a man and I was wondering how is that possible. I mean they can take it off but how they can put it on. It is clear and makes sense now. Thanks again. Monica DD 969 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 For strip clubs, for touching, you have Downtown club, located on Ste-Catherine, between Stanley and Drummond, also Kamasutra 1 street east of St-Laurent blvd. For some fun time I suggest Eclipse night club but every man have to be accompanied by a woman.

hunknhot 1067 Report post Posted December 19, 2009 I sent this in a pm but I figured I should share with the rest of the group: Well.. in the city.. Just stop off at St-Catherine and St-Laurent st. There are male and female strip clubs. Kingdom (down the street from where Monica reccomended) is where you might want to start off based on your description. Club 281 is Male dancers only around the block but will have a great mix of all types of people. There are two other club within 50 feet off St-Laurent... A short cab ride is Club Super Sexe Montreal's most popular club, you could walk on a warmer day and will pas another two to three SC clubs, all are contact clubs.. If you are driving or have a car.. Les Amazones on St-Jacques or Solid Gold in Northern End of the city might be what you are looking for will surely be packed during the holidays.. On the drive from Ottawa in Dorion is the Hilltop. It is a "more contact" club where and is frequented by porn stars from sites such as brunob it's secluded so you need a GPS or really good directions! If you want to get really naughty.. there is an "eye wide shut"/swinger type org, they will welcome you with open arms!.. They usually rent out old buildings in old montreal. Kubrick would be proud. Not sure of any events during the holidays As for TS's I don't know any personally but I hear there are many, SQ referred to merb also try merc. There are way more Montreal secrets to be explored ... Monica...shhhh don't say anything ;) Have a great time! I'm sure few other Montrealers might chime in here.
Guest C*****tte Report post Posted December 20, 2009 Le Commensal is in my opinion a rather generic vegetarian restaurant. I do go there when I am out downtown and shopping. It is a healthy, fast option. However, I much prefer Chu Chai (4088 Rue Saint-Denis) which is a vegetarian Thai restaurant and one of the best veg restaurants in North America. I am also a fan of Aux Vivres (4631 boulevard Saint-Laurent).
survived70s 582 Report post Posted December 20, 2009 I had the impression that the second floor bar above Cleopatra was a tranny bar. I haven't been in a few months, it deserves a visit.
Guest C*****tte Report post Posted December 20, 2009 Yes, Cabaret Cleo features drag queen shows. I was there this week and it is delightfully old school and kitschy. It is above the Cleopatra's stripclub.

I visit Montreal frequently and used to live there and as a vegetarian I often end up eating at Le Commensal when I'm downtown. Aux Vivres has great food and a more "homey" atmosphere, whereas Le Commensal has a cafeteria vibe.
belladonna 279 Report post Posted December 20, 2009 I just wanted to add that I have been to Montreal several times, however, this was with family. You can see why we weren't rushing to the best strip clubs. Or I would travel with a friend, usually to get trashed and see a concert. No need for further entertainment, we could barely control our slurring. I know where these places are, thankfully. BUT I'm still looking for a beautiful transsexual. Would anyone know, at least, a good website. I've been to the suggested ones, and they had no reviews or discussion boards. (Looking at the older replies, I think merb/merc would be good places to check.) Thanks

Jazzitup 5652 Report post Posted December 22, 2009 Something I wanted to say earlier ... One of the things I like about Le Commensal, is it is buffet style, whichs means you see it, you can smell it and you can take as little or as much as you like and it is quick, but better quality than fast food. Bella, I enjoyed the reference to Hunter S. Thompson.
YoungStud 468 Report post Posted December 23, 2009 Bella, I enjoyed the reference to Hunter S. Thompson. Yep. He was both a wise guy and and a wise man. No man is so foolish but he may sometimes give another good counsel, and no man so wise that he may not easily err if he takes no other counsel than his own. He that is taught only by himself has a fool for a master. - Hunter S. Thompson And the supremely self-defining : When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. - Hunter S. Thompson And then, my personal fav, since I worked in the music industry for awhile: The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. - Hunter S. Thompson Could be said about many things. Lol.
