The question of "The Best"

Recommended Posts

On the flip side of this 'the best' coin, I'd like to point out that in review culture there is such a desire (and likely in some cases, pressure) for a lot of girls to be considered 'the best'. With numerical scoring, ratings, and in some cases arguments/commentary about whether said girl is 'the best' or not, it becomes a less-than-honest forum based on competition for some ladies. It isn't hard to manipulate that system and create that top notch reputation, whether it's true or not. A pinch of salt and then some is crucial.

I think I speak for many when I say I love the way this board is set up. There's more integrity here. It's a bit more simple and honest. Are 'juicy details' necessary? No. Not anywhere. I've always considered it icky but starting out, reviews are a necessary evil and most aren't posted without those intimate (often exaggerated) details. Information like does she look like her photos, did she show up on time, did you enjoy your time with her, was she everything she advertises as (even that's subjective... 'witty' to one could be a solid 'My grandmother has more wit than this chick!' to someone else), that type of thing? Absolutely. That's what's important and what piques interest for a quality gent, not numerical ratings.

I think you are right when you say it isn't hard to manipulate the system, any system, review or reco board. To be popular or considered "the best" in some eyes, it boils down to how much you participate, the friends you make and involve yourself with and how many clients that are participants on boards you see. I've never really understood the difference between a review or a reco as many recos here are written like reviews. They may not rate by a number but they indicate the same level of value by saying that said lady is the best or a must see, or one that shouldn't be missed out on, that she's number 1 and so on. The only difference and that is even very subtle, is the negativity, here some will say "pass"," I'd move on" or other such statements that can only be interpreted as a negative view. But that's just how I see it:)

I think 'I'd pass' or 'I'd move on' is tame and a true sentiment. There was no bashing, no low scoring, no trying to ruin someone, no crazy embellishments of gory acts that didn't happen or a run-through of the lady's unattractiveness. Not every experience is positive. Chemistry from person to person can be wildly different. Not everyone is going to have fireworks. I think something as simple as 'I wouldn't repeat' is fair. Sometimes things aren't as they seem. It's no secret that all that glitters isn't gold in this business.

Coming from hardcore review culture, I'll take this reco business any day of the week! haha I make it clear on my website that I have a strict no review policy as of October 2014. A testimonial is one thing (I quite like my little page of recos and find them tasteful), but reviews with scores and juicy details? No thanks.

We've kind of gone off-track from the original post- apologies. I just wanted to give a little insight from the other side of things.

I understand and your perspective is obviously a more experienced one, so it appears, but a tame statement such as I'd pass, or I'd move on I'll have to argue, could ruin someone's reputation , if said often enough and by even one and why would anyone want that? So, I see it is a tame way of bashing. Different opinions different view, all are good, and I apologize as well for contributing to running askew with the topic. But, good, better, best, reco or review all opinions and shouldn't be taken as gospel:)

No one could know who the best is unless they saw everyone

Research continues.

Does anyone know of a good source of funding? I find my applications are consistently rejected, for some reason... :)

True... but this also comes under marketing. Some people are prepared to put the time and effort in; some aren't. I have no problem with those that are being rewarded for doing so.

Yes. And really, stuff like that isn't supposed to be in a reco - after all, if you'd pass on someone, then you're not exactly recommending them, are you? Posts like this really ought to be drawn to Mod's attention so that they can be removed.

Nor do I, as long as the reward is for good service, hard work and not for who you know, associate with or coddle.

I'm sorry I probably didn't explain myself well, those comments aren't made in recos, that I know of . I have seen them in threads asking about different girls. The ones that start off "have you seen", so and so.

The only usefulness for me personally in regard to reco's or reviews is to identify bait and switch or fake or passed best before date pics. Other than that not much else.

Peace

Whenever I think I have had a great session or met a great woman. I always seem to have even better sessions :) Sometimes with same woman and sometimes with new women. So I still haven't met the "Best" yet, but still finding better ones lol. The problem is if once I find the "Best". I won't have the fun of looking for the "Best". But I'm sure she is out there. And I will keep looking. May take a while :)

I currently have two favourites.

One lady I've been seeing on and off for 5 1/2 years. I love the feel of her skin and her very long hair.

The other lady I've only been seeing for a year, but she is so much fun to be with; has me laughing the moment I pick her up... Is adventurous and we do things like snow shoe together.

Different experiences.

Both Amazing.

So to me at least there is no single best.

For me, less is more. The best ladies I met had more of a girl next door or tomboyish look. The type I can go to a restaurant or any other public place and nobody would stare or whisper a dumb comment. And once in the bedroom, there's a natural flow and doesn't feel like an attempt to recreate a porno or go through a check list of options.

Nothing against a little eye candy and out of the box experiences. But for long term, the best remains simple and low key.

I'm sorry but there's something really disturbing about reviving this thread on International Women's Day !

I'm sorry but there's something really disturbing about reviving this thread on International Women's Day !

Why is that?? This thread is not more damaging than any other threads or posts I seen today. It's business as usual with all the self-promoting posts, reviews and normal discussions. This one only asks our definition of the best and doesn't display anything misogynistic or degrading toward women.

If you feel the need to crank your inner feminism to eleven , you should maybe go elsewhere for the day.

of course this thread is misogynistic and degrading. it's not even debatable.

You must be right on the "not even debatable" part as you never made a single argument on why it was. It's a website about the sex industry and adult entertainment. Considering the majority of workers are women and the vast variety of topics, opinions and members present here, it's mindboggling how you can single out this thread and the people behind it.

If you want to celebrate this day, go hug your mom, wife, sister or else. But don't come on a website most feminists would consider exploitative to lecture us on what's appropriate or not.

wow that was revealing QED !

This thread is about sharing our preferences and own definition of an ideal companion. Doesn't matter if about physical attributes, education, culture, attitude or openness to experiment, learn and explore. I'm not sure how this could be interpreted as misogynistic, degrading or disturbing.

Judging from your comments, I seriously wonder if you actually took the time to read and understand the topic.
