Guest Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I saw a show on slice tonight. I felt really bad for the husband. The name of the show is how do I make love to my wife. Great this guy is taking an intrest in his wife. Good for him. He goes to different functions to learn how to please his wife. Threw out the hole show. She is complaining on how bad he is in bed. It seams like he could do nothing right. She is really harsh and digs him the hole time. She also does nothing to improve the sex for him. On top of everything. She is sent off for a day of pampering and still complains. This to me just puts women in a bad light. I know not all women/wives are like this. It doesn't paint a good picture though. All we hear about is all the dirty things guys do in dating. It really reveals some of the shit you guys go threw. If you guys have to put up with this in the dating world. No wounder it is easier to call an escort. I couldn't sleep so I might as well type.:bddog:

Annessa 22743 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 bah, you can sleep when you're dead, lol all joking aside that seems like a really interesting show....I'd have a hard time watching it though. seriously tho this guy sounds like he was under an extremely large amount of pressure....and as if that wasn't bad enough already...was on national TV having to not only prove himself to his wife, but the audience. the wife in question probably is one of those women who loves the spotlight and has to showcase what an acceptional and perfect wife she is (bah!)....shes probably the one who sucks (and not in a good way) in bed lol after all....isnt sex supposed to be a *mutual* effort? ;-)

NotchJohnson 214123 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I'm not that bad off after all but this is reality and us guys still love our wives. I have my reasons to be with her and no one can take that from me. I was watching a show recently about sex addiction and people going to rehab for it. There was this gorgeous woman who said that she could not go 21 days without sex or masturbation. I feel for her ( I really do ) but this is how I was before I joined cerb (more then 21 days but less then 6 months) and now met many wonderful ladies here. Kubrickfan 12836 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I think the pressure most guys who are married go through is "negative pressure." Wife has no interest whatsoever in sex or intimacy ... zip, zero, nada. That's why finding ladies here that seem to have a genuine interest in those things ... that goes beyond financial ... is really a lot of fun. Also, you know ... remember ladies ... there is still some pressure to do a good job when we are with you all! ;-)
Guest s******ecan**** Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Well said Kubrickfan, it is certainly the reason I am in the hobby. Thanks to all you wonderful SP's out there!
TRman 536 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Unfortuneately I think some of it has to do with basic instinct. The male is programmed to hunt and capture, then hunt again etc. The woman pre-qualifies a spouse for reproduction and once has a mate to provide redirects attention to the offspring. An old teacher of mine once said, guys use love to get sex and women use sex to get love. Looking back at my younger years and the whole dating game it is really quite true. I didn't say it was right, but that is ultimately how I see it. I think an SP also allows for no strings attached, something new, perhaps different and often men either want to play out a fantasy, or LEARN new things from the SP. I think the girls in general really discount the later. My 2 cents

CookiesNScream 363 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Many women suffer from sexual dysfunction and can't ever achieve climax. I guess it's easier just to blame someone else sometimes. But of course, yes. Some men really need a tutorial and can't tell a clit from a belly button, and think foreplay is getting a blow job. So in all fairness, if some guy is that bad in the sack...is it necessary to be derogatory and humiliate the poor bastard? I don't think so. Unless of course it's a kinky fetish thing and he is secretly getting off on being humiliated publicly.

Jazzitup 5652 Report post Posted January 6, 2010 Thanks Peachy for standing up for the guy. I really think that this couple could do so much more in exploring their sexuality that would be mutualy satisfying. But the producers do not want to show anything like that, it is not edgey enough. And this is supposedly a reality show. That is very questionable. I just do not find it entertaining watching someone willingly humiliate themselves. This may just be a new low for reality television.
