canuckhooker 19203 Report post Posted January 24, 2010 Actually I did know them. I think you can get them for around $180 a night on the weekends. But I think that may vary depending on time of year. The Monterrey around the corner also has Jacuzzi suites, but their's are a little smaller. (The tubs that is) You can get two people in, but if both of you are regular sized adults it is tight. Not a lot of room to manoeuvre but it is initimate. Maybe I should work for Expedia. :P

BobbiInVic 976 Report post Posted January 25, 2010 Ok.... Here is my decision, some will like, some may not. As many of you know, Dorina and I started in the business together a few years ago, and although she has moved away, we remain in contact (I adore her). She has helped me weigh the pros and cons to this hotel dilemna.... Usually when I tour, I am there to work and that is it. This ON tour is different. I have never been to Ottawa or Toronto and want to stay somewhere were it accessible to the sights, dining and ameneties. Therefore, I have chosen a downtown suite hotel. It does not have a jacuzzi suite, but it is spacious and quite modern. I hope I havent ruffled any feathers, or swayed anyones decision in seeing me. Thank you to everyone who took the time to pm, and post here, very cool and helpful of you! xxoo Bobbi

PistolPete 61421 Report post Posted January 25, 2010 All mature adults here, and we were simply giving you sound advise. Your decision is great! You get to do a lot of sight seeing down town, and that is what it is about, YOU. NOT about someone that works down town and can walk over to visit you for convience. Your reason and explanation is genuine Bobbi, it is about you who is spending the funds for the room. I don't think you have not ruffled any feathers or swayed anyone in making their decision where you would be staying, if the man is willing, able he will visit you you. So "good choice " was made by you, and there was never any regret in the 1st place, but merely thorough discussion to help you out. Tell Dorinda next time you might be talking to her I say hello! Ok....Here is my decision, some will like, some may not.
