MightyPen 67414 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 OH MY GOD I am now compelled to date myself terribly. I remember as a kid growing up in the 70s there was a CBC show called "This Is the Law", in which a panel of guests was shown a short (slightly comical) video of a hapless "lawbreaker" (always played by actor Paul Soles) who unwittingly breaks some obscure, unspecified Canadian law and gets arrested. Then the panel had to decide what law he just broke. Some of the laws were pretty weird and some were totally impossible to spot, especially when there was some other more obvious candidate inserted to trick the panelists. Huh! I just searched and found exactly one clip of the show: Funny... the "special guest" in this clip happens to be a younger-than-I-ever-saw-him Donnelly Rhodes, who is better known as the older cop on Da Vinci's Inquest and the doctor in the remake of Battlestar Galactica. Ah, the 70s. I really don't miss you at all.
