jafo105 39057 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 TORONTO -- A Montreal man is facing charges after a police probe into allegations of juvenile prostitution in Toronto's downtown core. Toronto police say they began their investigation in late January after getting a tip that a 17-year-old girl was procured to become a prostitute earlier in the month. Stefan Jordan, 29, is charged with procuring a person to become a prostitute, exercising control and living on the avails of prostitution of a person under 18 years old. A warrant has also been issued for the arrest of Jessica Naoufal, 22, of Montreal. Police say they believe there may be more victims and they are urging anyone with information to contact investigators.
Cute0aza0Button 21399 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I hope people come forward. Criminalizing people who visit escorts will result in Fewer girls being helped. Who do you think reported thus case? Who do you think has information? Clients are a huge help to LE when it comes to this type of stuff and they will not be so inclined to repost these crimes if they risk being arrested.
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I am gonna post with emotions raging rather than a well thought out response. First of all, teenage prostitution would not exist if there wasn't a market for it. As much as I believe that the clients should be able to come forward without fear of any legal charges in order to help these girls, another part of me thinks that they should face consequences for seeking out these girls in the first place. I am on the fence as to the solution to this obvious problem but my conviction still lies with the fact that the "johns" drive the need. To the little heads....seriously, when looking at an ad or seeing pics, are there not signs that would clue you in? Anyhow, peace out band I will shut my mouth now :)
Malibu-Jack 848 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I like what you had to say about the article today. I tend to have a more age appropriate view on women so I dot think I would ever get stuck that way. But there should be away for John's to disclose situations that may seem questionable. Not that all would but some sure would I think. I would love to learn more about the industry in general so I could make a true educated decision. There are so many areas were this starts. 1) Media (Main Stream & Adult) 2) Internet (The big culprit for advancing the effects of the Sex trade) 3) Strip Clubs 4) Body Rubs 5) Service Providers. (Main Stream stuff) 6) Other (The Truly hidden) There are probably other as well. Thanks for you input I am gonna post with emotions raging rather than a well thought out response. Cute0aza0Button 21399 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 Teenage prostitution is not always underage prostitution. There will always be a desire to have sex with young woman both in and put of this lifestyle. It's the way we are wired. There is nothing Wong with consenting adults doing this, she was 17 years old, right on the cusp. It would honestly be difficult to tell I would think between a 17 and 18 year old. Seeking out young women should not be turned in to a huge thing. If they are women. Not girls. I've been doing some research on sexuality and age. It has proven to be very interesting. I actually stumbled on it while looking in to mandatory reporting so right along this topic
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I agree with the biology but desires and fantasies are controllable urges to which satisfactory outlets can be found. We are sentient beings whose intellect can determine right from wrong, even if those rules are forced on us by society. A well grounded person will make every attempt to heed the law and find a way to satisfy their urges within its boundaries. Ya, I know, kinda hypocritical of me considering my profession but hey...never claimed to be perfect lol. Wanna see mg in pigtails and bobby socks? Cute0aza0Button 21399 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I agree with you completely but that's why ended up with a seventeen year old makes sense. If you're looking for young but legal you might end up with too young. You need to be able to repost that. That's all I'm saying. Sorry I didn't mean to start anything lol
Meg O'Ryan 266444 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 No worries! Not a jab at you at all. Just saying that really, when it comes down to it, it's the pooner's responsibility (ultimately) to ensure he isn't engaging someone under age.

There are the ones who respond to an ad for a 'new' sp whose ads all claim she is 18 or 19. They want to see the new sp, new to the biz, not a 15 year old. If this is their target, a new to biz younger sp, then they have an obligation imo to report anyone that they suspect is less than that and leave before any session takes place. There are others who as if the 18 year is younger, and if the answer is yes, proceed to book. those are deviants.
Studio 110 by Sophia 150333 Report post Posted February 12, 2014 Really, how hard is it to ask her to show ID before your session begins? I mean if you replying to an ad that says 18 or 19, well as it has been pointed out, it can be tricky to tell if she actually is. So simply ask for ID and it wipes it out of your mind. If she can not produce ID, I would defiantly get out of there! I do this with my clients or SP's. On my disclaimer it says, if you appear 25 or under you will be asked for ID. I take that from the way they card for cigarettes, as some people's age can really throw you for a loop. I would rather be 100% sure. In my booking process I will ask them for their age, if he says 20,21,20 I tell them to make sure they have ID on them.
