Bianca xxx Not a fan of hotels by and large, I know a lot of people locally and always need a to have a side story available and it also feels a little too cliche to me. If it's to a residence or condo/apartment I'll always do a drive by or google map search to scope out the neighborhood for safety as well as to ensure I don't know any one living in the building or near by. Bianca xxx Sorry I am not a hobbyist, but in my experience, I have had been turned down by both scenarios, I simply feel, you can not please everyone:) There have been people who turned me down in a nice hotel too. I would ask him what hotel he had, and providing he was in a nice place, perhaps I would go see him at his location if it were to my standards and he was confirmed in his room. Maybe then I would insist next time to visit me at my location? Some people are just not informed, and when this happens all kinds of paranoia come into play. Just the other day someone was convinced that I had some cars " with really long antenna " were watching my house 2 streets over! LMAO...really, if there were people watching my house I might need to call the police! Later that day I realized it was the windshield washers left up because of a storm! hahaha Sorry here is my additional comments. Bianca, this person must have not looked into the great rep you have here, as anyone I think, would know you would provide nothing but the best location and with utmost discretion that is needed for safety! Additional Comments: What is up with the "almost booking"? meaning the guy who enquires for rates, times avail then given the best time to be agreed on? So even though it is NOT confirmed, if you say..." I am thinking for tomorrow around 3" I say "please confirm by 130" , even if you can't make it...why not just txt and say sorry can not make it? Am I suppose to txt you at 130 and ask why you have not called yet? If I do, are you going to be upset?

It hasn't happened yet, but if someone said some motel, I'd probably decline. I'm just worried that it's some sort of scam.

Bianca xxx Location is certainly important. Discretion is important to me therefore some locations (on main streets or that have high exposure) concern me. Also some of the seedier Hotels or Motels or rough areas of a city might be cause for concern. I also live in a smaller city so I know some people that work in some of the Hotels in town. I prefer (although not always an option) to visit a lady at a private residential location that is discrete (not on a main intersection right next store to the busiest fast food restaurant in town). Being seen somewhere that you shouldn't be is always a risk - I just like to attempt to minimize that risk whenever possible.

I was a bit more uneasy about hotel, but the one time i went to one, it went perfectly well. And now that i know you, i'd meet you anywhere. ;)

I'm asking this coz i was turned down by a client in Calgary because i was in a private condo instead of a hotel room...It doesnt happen often but i'd like to hear your opinion! Bianca xxx Yes. Location is important. Private condo, hotel, apartment or house doesn't really matter as long as there is discretion assured. A seedy area or hotel/condo is not where I want to be. Additional Comments: I have a complex question about social time. As an independent, I get many requests for dinner, drinks, social hangouts... I don't like to post social rates, because to be honest it all depends on whether I know the person, we've met before, and I feel like hanging out with them. I've heard from many dear clients "I would never pay someone to have dinner with me". I do understand where this comes from, it can be a big hit to one's ego to have to pay to hang out with someone... There is however, a limited amount of time in a night, week, month, year, and I would understand any lady who would prefer to make as much as possible on a night she is posted as working... But anyone would agree dinner or drinks before a date is fun, someone showing a desire to get to know ME dressed before i get naked is very flattering, and it's a nice way to get to know one another. I guess my question is, should ladies charge for social time? Should I include the option of free meet up before a date when someone books a certain amount of hours? I am a foody, I love being taken out to dinner... lol thank you for you advice :) I have done both. Usually I don't want to pay a lady to eat with me at a restaurant but lately I like to bring food along and share it together in the course of our session. I usually like 2 hour sessions so a break for food and a beverage can be fun. Of course I check first to see what she likes and then bring along some treats. Winnipegcub 21293 Report post Posted February 26, 2014 Location isn't too important. I have no problem with private condo or hotel. Early on in this hobby I did chat with a lady and when learned she was in a neighborhood and house I declined. I would probably go ahead now. I do like when ladies are clear one way or the other. Some will advertise downtown and then I've found they are a 15 min cab ride away. Best might be to be clear and say hotel or condo and if you say downtown, should be walking distance downtown in most cities. Phaedrus 209521 Report post Posted February 26, 2014 When contacting an sp, why do you give up entirely after the first attempt didn't reach her? Usually because I'm looking for something right now (within reason) and I called someone else instead. However, if I called you once, I'll probably try again, be it next week or next month, and maybe I'll be organized enough to be contacting you in advance this time so that won't apply... For the young hobbyist here, say under 25.... have you ever been carded by a SP/MA ? HAHAHAHA!!! I wish :) Is the location important? and why? I'm asking this coz i was turned down by a client in Calgary because i was in a private condo instead of a hotel room...It doesnt happen often but i'd like to hear your opinion! Yes, within reason. I don't care about hotel vs apartment, but I'd second everyone else's comments about sketchiness. I always get a little nervous visiting a private house; people are always coming and going from hotels and big apartment blocks and so a few clients are just a tiny blip on radar, but I'd imagine traffic at a house is harder to hide. I just assume that the person I'm seeing has a good cover story for the neighbors...
Maverick 2873 Report post Posted February 26, 2014 For the young hobbyist here, say under 25....have you ever been carded by a SP/MA ? I've seen a handful of MAs the past few years when I was 19-21 and didn't get carded, but I did make sure to bring an ID just in case. I wouldn't mind showing ID because I understand the reasoning and would hope for cooperation if I ever felt I had to ask for hers.

I'm asking this coz i was turned down by a client in Calgary because i was in a private condo instead of a hotel room...It doesnt happen often but i'd like to hear your opinion! Bianca xxx Private condos are a fair bit less discrete to get in/out of. A lot of depends upon the actual geometry and front desk (if any). However, on the whole, I way prefer to visit in a condo/apartment than a hotel room for the simple reason of amenities... towels for a start! If you are within walking distance of a major transitway station, then I'm 10x more likely to visit, particularly on a whim; as I don't drive to work. Frankly, given how much metadata cars give out, it would be a further concern. That's the other issue with condos: parking. Having said that, there are some ladies that I will book the vrtucar for, and there are some which have moved to a place I need to drive to, and I haven't done that. (Angels,Paradise, and CMJ are places I've not been... at least not since 2004, when I worked near Angels)

I'm asking this coz i was turned down by a client in Calgary because i was in a private condo instead of a hotel room...It doesnt happen often but i'd like to hear your opinion! Bianca xxx Hotel/condo etc dont bother me in any way... As discussed in past threads... ' act like you belong there' = no probs. Two of the biggest factors are: 1-how far I have to drive... and some times I dont feel like trugging all the way downtown, or if I'm in the west, going to east-end is less appealing.. I understand this detail is particular to ME.. Other hobbyist may not care at all. 2- Is parking, again being downtown, if there is no immediate parking (dare I say free parking!!) I am quite likely not to consider a visit. Once I ended up being late for an rendez-vous just because there was no parking available... may I say that is one of my pet-peeves... I realize SPs wish to be fairly central and try to be easily accessible (no pun intended here.. plz ;-) ) and maximize there business potential.. but going downtown, is just ughhh..!! My 2c D. Ice4fun 78407 Report post Posted February 27, 2014 I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to ask and answer the questions. It is a LOT, and i have only browsed thru a few pages so far. :) My question is similar to cristy's list. When contacting an sp, why do you give up entirely after the first attempt didn't reach her? Speaking of phone calls but I suppose text or emails qualify, but phone calls are the most frustrating, especially if the # is blocked. One call, no message, never once trying a 2nd time, even tho my voice message suggests calling back in only 20 minutes. (even saying call back in 5 minutes, such as in the case i am checking laundry or taking out the garbage and can't take the phone). i always assume making the phone call means wanting to connect, am I wrong if the person never tries again (and sometimes i mean that literally, as in even the next day, week, month or year, never see that same # show up lol) Ok... first the easy answer... we are last men with the attention span of a 3 year old.... we move on quickly if not in receipt of immediate g ratification.... note I'm not saying this us a positive trait or we should be proud...lolol. Just stating a fact. Now the longer answer.... we are looking last minute and booked with he first lady we liked who was available.... for me this is way more likely if I am traveling and not prearranged anything. Just my opinion Additional Comments: For the young hobbyist here, say under 25.... have you ever been carded by a SP/MA ? Hmmmmmmm I am only carded when I ask for the Seniors Discount LOL Just kidding Additional Comments: I havent read all the questions as i'm only half way but here is mine ;) will continue reading after lol Is the location important? and why? I'm asking this coz i was turned down by a client in Calgary because i was in a private condo instead of a hotel room...It doesnt happen often but i'd like to hear your opinion! Bianca xxx To be honest for first visits I prefer one of the better hotels.... there is always a degree of uncertainty with a new connection and the meeting in a upscale hotel helps. That said I have met ladies in other locations.... high end condos and private residences but it usually means we have met in Cerb and there is lots go base the decision on. Just my opinion
MightyPen 67414 Report post Posted March 2, 2014 To be fair to all, I've summarized the questions in this thread as I did for the "ask an Escort" thread. Once again, I've edited some of these down and the originals may contain additional nuances. My intention here is to help resurrect some questions that may have been missed, simply prompt new answers, and avoid duplication going forward. Great thread! 1. What made you finally take the leap? Do you book mostly because ads? Recs? Pictures? or recs or pictures (mostly)? How important is non-CERB web presence? (Cute0aza0Button) 2. Have you ever looked at an ad or profile and thought, "wow, she way out of my league?" (SuiteEscapes) 3. Have you booked a session and not be able to perform as you hoped? If so, how did you handle that? (SuiteEscapes) 4. For married clients, did you ever feel like your hobby was obvious to others at home/work? (SuiteEscapes) 5. For married clients, does a session with an MA/SP leave you happier/better able to deal with issues at home? (SuiteEscapes) 6. In the course of your hobbyist experiences, what has surprised you? What have you learned or discovered? How have those things spilled over into other facets of your life? (AnnaSweets) 7. Have you ever invited a friend into the hobby? (SuiteEscapes) 8. What is the one piece if advice you wish someone had given you when you started hobbying? (Cute0aza0Button) 9. How do you, or would you deal with a Bait & Switch or theft? (SuiteEscapes) 10. Do you ever have fantasies of providers that may not be your typical/usual "type"? Have you ever acted on them? (LexyGrace) 11. How much value do put on what another hobbyist or sp has to say about another provider? Would it impact your decision to see/ or not see her? Do you also base decisions in other aspects of your life the opinions and comments of others? (cristycurves) 12. If the government does criminalize hobbyists, are you going to drop out of the community? What will you want us providers to do to reassure you that it will be safe to come see us? (Summer) 13. Do you form a significant opinion of an SP based on her writing and how she presents herself online? (Nicolette Vaughn) 14. Let's say you go see someone for 3rd time, and she is just out of sorts that day. Will you give her the benefit of doubt and try again, or just say..." nah I will look for another"? When you've seen a lady a few times and have a good connection established, do you feel comfortable talking about or requesting things you'd enjoy trying or do you leave it up to her to either broach or try? Should I include the option of free meet up before a date when someone books a certain amount of hours? (Amelie) 22. Why precisely do some gentlemen have their profile private? (Raven Rain) 23. WHY don't men a) read websites b) follow direction/instructions c) pre-book more often d) text things other than "hey" e) send out penis pictures? (cristycurves) 24. Why do some men confuse breasts with Charmin toilet tissue and/or loaves of bread? (cristycurves) 25. Hey! Guys! What about #12!? (Summer) 26. nntsci 11076 Report post Posted August 9, 2016 What made you finally take the leap?Do you find yourself booking a lady because of her ad or recs or pictures (mostly)? How important is web presence (outside of cerb - website, blog, other ad sites etc) My home sex life has been pretty mediocre for the past 15 years... but I survived. What made me take the leap was a strip joint in combo with feeling lonely while on a conference trip to West Virginia... Its hard for me to recall exactly the details, but a female friend of mine had been flirting with me about my up coming trips to West Virginia and Lake Tahoe. West Virginia was of particular interest to her because it was the home of one of her favourite writers (turns out she was wrong about his home anyway, it was Virginia, but close)... she was quite a tease... anyway, so I was at the hotel for the conference and frustrated and went out for a drive around the area. I actually had a purpose... I was looking for a type of business related to my job and related to the purpose of my visit... scoping out the local market. Anyway, as I was driving I past by an place with exotic dancing... I drove by it found what I was looking for, but the wheels were spinning. A half hour later, on my way back to my hotel I happened to drive by the exotic dancing bar again (which is a minor miracle as I didn't actually know the area at all). So on a whim I stopped... the girls offered lap dances and I was were allowed to touch and fondle... that broke the ice... about 2 months later I was heading to Reno Nevada. I tried to find the Mustang Ranch but it had been moved... but eventually found a lady at the Wild Ranch Saloon in Winnemucca. It was more then a year and a half before I saw any ladies in Canada.
